Here in the U.S., summer begins on June 20th. Our big summer celebration is the 4th of July. Everything else depends on where you come from.

Here in the east, people are pretty much at the shore all summer.

Over in California, it is "summer" pretty much all year so I don't think they even care.

The only part of the midwest I'm familiar with is TeXas and those beautiful people celebrate kick A$$ barbecue allllllll yeeeeeear looooooooong.

There is a running joke in Arizona. It is a cartoon of someone parked a mile away from the mall but in the shade...this is considered a good parking space because it is in the shade.

Anyway, I'm taking care of some business back at the studio again.

There's some....ahem..."politics" going on here.

Upon returning home from having seen Brave (at a theatre just 5 a minute walk away, in the building where I work), I sat on my balcony and ate some potato chips and drank a beer, watching the passenger jets descend towards Pearson airport. Very nice.
