2nd best day to take off. Same with my situation...2 people have Friday off so Monday was the next day in line. It's going to take maybe a month to get used to it and Tuesday's will feel like Monday's. It sucks.

I was going to quit the 4 x 10 schedule, but after giving it a full 2 months. I actually like it and I rely on my Monday's doing nothing and sleeping in.

Now let's see if we can get Mr. J to work 4 x 10's.

The only thing that sucks is the traffic going home. My commute is 50 miles one way and when I leave it's rush hour

1 1/2 hours yesterday to go home.

3 hours left till I go home today though

Going to goto Lids to buy a hat then shop for a new water pipe.

Hell yeah. That's the worst part. I leave at 5:30 and there's tons of cars. It takes me between 35-45 mins to get home just traveling only 14 miles. When I used to leave at 3:30 it would take me under 30 mins.

Must be nice to leave early, but I'm saving my personal later in the year. I''m the first to arrive in the office, and usually the last to walk out the door at 5:30 when I'm here.

I don't wear hats!

Not my style. They look good, but I'm not a hat person. I never was.

Off to do some errants:

Tim's for a coffee first!
Then bank (my pockets are empty)
Pay $100 parking ticket (GRRRR)
Then Costco for some groceries
Then Home Depot to look at some paint (again)
Then Beer Store for liquid refreshments
Maybe some vinyl/CD shopping

Thumbs down Making stew.

I'm making stew. I could not find the really big pot though, just a crock pot, and it's taking much longer than it usually does.

repairing my effin' apartment!

last night we had some very heavy rain and i guess the roof of the apartment building (we live on the second floor) sucks and all of a sudden at like 4 in the morning we had water POURING where the roof meets the wall of our living room!

i woke up and i heard some rustling noise or something walked out and i could not tell you how effin' loud i screamed in horror and rage. then i was faster than lightning as i grabbed all the electronics we had in there. thank god nothing was water damaged :

in the moment i just picked up my shelf with my blus on and hustled it out of there, breaking the damn thing in half in the process!

now, let me tell you. i own 150 blus. not a whole lot compared to many on here. and right now i'm kind of "fixing" the shelf and moving my movies into the bedroom for the time being and moving 150 blus (i'm very careful with them) is EXHAUSTING and a real pain in the @ss. not looking forward to moving next year. god knows how many blus i will have then! and this was moving them 15 feet! moving them miles and miles?! they won't even all fit in my damn car lol
