Just finished painting the last wall in the bedroom, and am taking a break..

Trust me when I say I could sleep for days now. Who new painting would be such hard work, didn't help that the room was baking hot, and I don't much like standing on the top of the ladder, plus my right shoulder is giving me grief now...

Battling through allergies at work. Trust me...I'm NOT looking for sympathy...we've all been there. I'm a freelancer, so I don't get the luxury of sick days.

It's really bad this time around. Coughing, runny nose, post nasal drip, sore throat, watery eyes...demons.

I can't waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait until it rains.

I'm on a 24hr allergy pill/ benedryl/ dayquil cocktail. The only thing that helps the sore throat is beer!!!

Just got off the phone with the local farm. According to rumor, if you ingest the honey made by bees in your local area you will naturally vaccinate yourself againts certain allergies. I will let you all know how this works, because if it works on me, it will work on anybody.

this is true..

I'm a member of our local beekeeper association..

I don't have bees yet, but, I've been doing research and going to meetings for the last two months..I've been waiting for a stretch of warm weather to start...

this season has been extremely funky...

and, right now, I'm finishing up a design and answering some emails..then, going out into the shop to check on a hot order that is supposed to ship today.

The more I read about it, the more it is starting to make sense to me. There only seems to be anecdotal evidence backing it up and no scientific research which makes sense, because why would the pharmaceutical machine dump millions of research dollars into telling you to buy a $2.00 jar of honey when they can keep you on an allergy prescription for the rest of your life.

It only makes sense that consuming a product made by the original ingredient you are actually allergic to would build up your immunity.

I bought raw local honey yesterday and my allergies cleared up a minute and a half after I swallowed (totally just said swallowed)

In 35 years, I've had pills, liquids, shots, chiropractics, acupuncture, priests, human sacrifice and pretty much anything else you can think of.

Raw Honey works!!!
