Yeah, the PM is more of a platinum guy. In fact, there's a few photos of him sporting a platinum chain with an iced out DV logo.

I always knew the PM’s grocery getter was a Rolls. And with the roof open The Pole can ride shotgun. Lol

Oh yes, I do agree. But the force of 24fps is too strong in me now

ps. Please would someone kindly spell out (I assume it's two words) who that "The PM" guy is with all that money? There's some "assumed knowledge" here! He doesn't look like our Prime Minister to me, which is the only expansion of PM which is known to me - "post meridiem" (p.m.) being Latin, should always be written in lower case, - and I can't just guess every possible "PM". Ta!

whereas for sports, be it engaged motion compensation in high end TVs (like the LG in this report) or better yet the capture and transmission of native higher frame rate, evidence shows their value is indisputable -

what be the 🙏🏆 of the future?
I think maybe incoming 100/120p content upconverted to 200Hz in high end model displays using motion compensation

PM, get your foot off the boat! And don't scratch my anchor.

It's easy to grin, when your ship comes in and you've got the stock market beat. But the man worthwhile, is the man who can smile, when his shorts are too tight in the seat.

How is the cruise so far Gregg?

Well, we visited Ketchikan today and toured a Totem pole state park with a very well versed guide. Now on our way to Juneau. Last night the highlight was a 5 course formal dinner including a cocktail, ribeyes and fancy desserts.

I think I'll go play golf now ...

Several studies have predicated and it is the consensus of the scientific community that the global proportion of tropical cyclones that reach very intense (Category 4 and 5) levels will likely increase due to anthropogenic warming (climate change) during this century.

Yes, I've heard of Category 5. And I've heard of people playing golf on Labor Day, @ the same time.
Dorian is doing intensive extensive damages in the Bahamas, something never seen before.
It was measured with winds up to 185 mph @ one point (Cat 5).
It is now a Cat 2 and finally starting to move slowly away from the Bahamas.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Dorian

"With sustained winds of 185 mph (295 km/h), Dorian is the strongest hurricane on record to strike the Bahamas since records began in 1851. Dorian is tied with the 1935 Labor Day hurricane for the highest sustained winds at landfall in an Atlantic hurricane; by the same metric, it is also the strongest Atlantic hurricane since Wilma in 2005. Dorian is one of only two Category 5 hurricanes to make landfall on the Abaco Islands, the other having occurred in 1932, and is the only such storm on record to have impacted Grand Bahama. Additionally, Dorian featured the highest sustained winds in an Atlantic hurricane recorded as far north as its latitude."

Default USB4, HDMI Over USB & Multi-HDR

The USB4 specification is published (up to 40 Gbps, USB-C connector, …):

HDR video >> Internet >> HDR PC/tablet/smartphone compatible with HDMI Alt Mode > HDR video signal >> USB-C to HDMI cable >> HDR TV

HDMI Alt Mode is officially compatible with HDMI 1.4b, and "it’s up to manufacturers to choose which HDMI features they support on their products with USB Type-C".

In order to be compatible with all currently operational HDR formats (i.e. HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision & HDR10 +), the USB-C to HDMI cable (or adapter or hub) should be HDMI 2.0b compliant.
