Sheesh, another reporter getting it wrong, as it did not prove the value (or lack thereof) with regards to -
“4K TVs versus 8K TVs”
https://www.flatpanelshd.com/news.ph...&id=1583308568

but rather whether it would be worthwhile for creators to shoot and finish in 8K.
Learn - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...n#post17395722

Plus, the study could have been more fair, and thusly more accurate to any conclusion by having used native 4K content – https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...e#post17396780

[Show spoiler]It’s probably “Slider” but that’s not as cool as “Hollywood”.

We had a good conversation

PeterTHX, Waboman and I would do well with the above Wuhan Shake as I think we all have prior experience (not nearly on the professional level though) with the dropped ball and having dee feet tapped/wacked –

It’s going to get worse before it gets better in terms of reported #of cases (not fatality rate, unless hospitals run out of ventilators due to some mass outbreak), so, as soon as we do eventually turn the corner and start seeing daylight with regards to real containment, move beyond being a regular 'schnook' either thru a fiduciary financial advisor or, if you’ve got the know-how….

Thanks for posting this. I leaves me stunned. Which broadcaster is planning to use the non-existent, supported by almost no TVs out there at all, SL-HDR system? That's absolutely ludicrous. The last thing the world needs is yet another HDR standard, I'm sorry, but SL-HDR is stillborn. Way, way too late now.

I think the broadcaster (who is it?) planning to use SL-HDR need their head read!

I went shopping at Costco this morning and they’re limiting folks to 2 packages of toilet paper. I don’t know what the world will be coming to if we can’t readily get TP.

No idea. I haven’t really followed them since Josh L. (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0pj5n1fJjU#t=1s
) left Technicolor for Viacom, plus when this deal in the works was first announced - https://www.lightreading.com/video/t.../d/d-id/749399
