I have a feeling this movie is going to be like deathly hallows part 1 for me. It won't stand well on its own, but it'll be great with part 2.

At one point, President Coin even says to Katniss that the revolution is about everyone, not just a handful of individuals.

He (the reviewer) isn't complaining about Lawrence's inability to emote those scenes, he's complaining about the character's petulance; Katniss' inability to see the bigger picture.

Lawrence could be mourning the loss of her flat screen tv in Victor's Village for all the same; just because she has the talent to sell these moments doesn't mean I have to buy them within the film's context.

You don't think that when Katniss told District 8 that she will fight with them that she saw the big picture? Or when she saw District 12?

could disagree more - I thought(and still do) the first movie was dull. The second one is pretty good and this last one was great. So much so that I want to see it again already (first viewing was thursday) and I've only seen the first 2 the once.

Well tbh everything she's done was for her, her family, Gale, and Peeta. It has always been about them and no one else (in her perspective).

It was my least favorite book but I think the movie was a great adaptation. I do respect other people's opinions, but that does mean that I must agree with them.
