I just did my weekly Child Abuse 3 assignment lol. I didn't realize it was supposed to be an 8+ slide Power Point or I wouldn't have waited till tonight to start on it. Going to bed a bit later than usual because of that, so I'm also going to get up a bit later than usual. Hopefully it doesn't mean I'll be starting my 1 hour recovery run too late.

Hard boiling a bunch of eggs so the wife and kid can color them later. I will then slip into the inspections role and inspect this here beer to make sure it's not poisonous.

Laying here in the hotel with my Girl, while watching some Big Bang Theory reruns on TBS,she has seemed rather depressed since I got here. She's nervous about the future of her career here, apparently the hospital's budget cuts are especially hitting their recently contracted workers.

Watching some YouTube subs while the Lady sleeps next to me. I'm wondering what her plans are for today, since her aunt and uncle are on their way to Pennsylvania to spend Easter with their kids. We're hoping to secure a 1 bedroom apartment in town here this week until something bigger comes up, I can't believe how fast apartments come and go around here. It's like as soon as I see a listing and contact them they're already taken.

Hope things work out for you both. Hospitals have been hit especially hard by Covid, since most or all elective surgeries were postponed or cancelled while beds were being used by those with the virus.

Yeah, it's ridiculous, this time last year she was praised as being a "hero" and now people like her are being thrown out like garbage. As for the move, we're playing it one-day-at-a-time at the moment, fulfill our obligations here in KY for a year if things don't pan out we'll move back to NY or maybe elsewhere.

OT: Went to Kroger to pick up something special that's microwaveable for our Easter dinner tonight. Won't be fancy but better than fast food or cup 'o noodles. Now I'm back in the room browsing the web while the Girl continues to sleep. Damn wish I could've slept in.

Went on a first date a couple weeks ago with this girl from Brazil and we were just texting. She had told me before we went out that she doesn't speak much English and that she uses a translator but I didn't think much of it. I text her in English and the replies I get are in English. But no, she speaks no English. She's been here for just over a year and is going back at by Christmas. So all of our conversation went through an app on her phone and it worked well enough but I've never had an experience quite like that.

Watched Paris Can Wait tonight for the first time and enjoyed it. Definitely makes me want to go to France. After that I played a little Hitman on PS4 and then watched some YouTube videos. I watched a video for Eminem's Till I Collapse which features scenes from Real Steel and it reminded me of this beauty

I watched some NXT UK yesterday on Peacock and I finally got to see Pretty Deadly. Their finish is a Hart Attack into a Diamond Cutter/ RKO which was fun to see.
