Just ultra bright HDR content, not simply for peak brightness but average brightness across the whole frame. Sony in particular love blasting their catalogue transfers with thousands and thousands of nits so they can be awkward to tone map properly. DeeVee on my TeeVee helps with this.

I'd love to know how much leccy that TCL screen uses. Then again, people buying a 100k tv wouldn't be fussed about leccy bills.

Yeah the HX3110 is absolutely fantastic. Saw it at NAB in Vegas a few weeks back. Big improvement over the HX310 in terms of viewing angles and peak brightness. Seeing 4000 nits for real both on test patterns and actual content made me rethink HDR all together.
