He could be alive and decrepit at 123 years old!

Just get Paul Shipper...his style is a very close match for Struzan.

And Drew Struzan responded with, 'I'm offering up the same prayer.'

So, if they hypothetically cast someone at Pratts age as Indiana Jones, that means the storyline would have to take place in the late 30s, an era which is already more than covered with the three classic Ford films. I don't see Lucasfilm 'intrude' on 'Fords territory', especially not when they don't have to.

They will need someone younger, someone in their mid 20s and then they could allocate the storyline of a potential full trilogy to the 1920s.
Does anyone really want a 20 year old Indy though? I'd rather have somebody the age of Chris Pratt. Just give Prat the fedora and whip already. He's earned it after the Jurassic World films!

I think it's much easier to have a female Indiana Jones than a female James Bond. I can't see the latter happening unless James Bond forgoes the 007 and becomes 008 or something, and the new agent assuming 007 is a co-lead in a James Bond film.

A female Indiana Jones is much easier because the role isn't predominantly defined by Indiana Jones being male. He has no inherent masculine qualities like James Bond.

Well, even if the movie is shit, at least we'll have a great poster to hang and imagine how good it could have been.

I like Chris Pratt very much but I think he would be a horrible Indiana Jones.

Literally nobody wants to see Pratt as Jones.

Hell even Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is way better than those crappy Jurassic World films.

I get why some say Chris Pratt, but it depends on the direction they want to go with in the next film (if they ever make one anyway). Like I really don't see Chris Pratt as a archaeology professor from the 30's. I don't find that believable. But if you want to reboot Indiana Jones for the modern era, then MAYBE. But might as well be a brand new character if they ever go that far.

That they're both praying to work together?

If we ignore that pretty much all professors that were teaching in colleges and universities in the 1930s, were men, sure. We already have a succesful fictional female counterpart to Indiana Jones; she is called Lara Croft.

As for Indiana Jones not having any 'inherent masculine qualities', clearly you are not female.
[Show spoiler]

Me neither.

The only actor from the Marvel franchises that I would remotely consider to follow in the footsteps of Harrison Ford, is Sebastian Stan. His acting is likewise downplayed and/or underplayed, which is how Ford has approached most characters that he has played during his career.

Disney wouldn't fit the bill for Struzan to work on the final poster for TFA. He only made the teaser poster. You'd think like...I don't what he charges, maybe a few hundred thousand, would be fine for a piece of art that they can put on posters and shirts and everything in between for decades. His Star Wars stuff is great, but he is THE Indiana Jones artist. When I think of Indy, I think of Drew's paintings of Indy, not the real flesh and blood Harrison Ford Indy.

Drew was retired, he didn’t want to do Star Wars. He did the teaser poster for the fans. He declined doing any others. He’s mentioned this several times on Twitter.

Then why would he offer up the same prayer as Mangold, that they get to "play together" on this movie?

Confirmation Ford will be de-aged for Indy 5 flashbacks and not recast with another actor (thankfully) https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...ire-Moors.html
