What? It works perfectly off his role as Indy's Driver in Indy II. And one of his best lines.

I'm thinking it's time for:

Indiana Jones and Secret Journals of Nostradamos

Indiana Jones and the Legend of Sasquatch's Platinum Toenails

Indiana Jones and the Treasure of Aladdin

Harrison Ford agrees story for Indiana Jones 5 with Spielberg and Lucas

Quote:
ANOTHER Indiana Jones movie is definitely on the way, albeit very slowly, Harrison Ford has confirmed.

Not that there was ever much doubt when the last film, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, made $787million worldwide. And that was despite the splutters of hatred from fans who regard it as the worst of the series.

Ford, 67, previously said he hopes the next movie will develop the relationship with the character's new wife Marion (Karen Allen) and newfound son Mutt (Shia LaBeouf).

Although he didn't confirm if his own suggestions would be incorporated, the actor told BBC Newsbeat: "Steven [Spielberg] and George [Lucas] and I are sort of agreed on a germ of an idea and we're seeing what comes of it."

Since he said back in September that the story was "in the process of taking form", we must assume that this germ of an idea is a further step.

If you think it all sounds very slow, you'd be right. Ford explained: "The process works like this. We come to some basic agreement and then George goes away for a long time and works on it.

"Then Steven and I get it in some form, some embryonic form. Then if we like it we start working with George on it and at some point down the line it's ready and we do it."

Just keep your fingers crossed there won't be any more aliens or flying saucers.

Great news. I loved Part 4. As good as the original in every way, shape, and form.

Glad to see some slow but steady news of this keeps coming out. Hopefully it's more of a return to form and less of . . . well, most anything that was in Crystal Skull.

Great news. I think the series and Harrison Ford have plenty of tread left in them. I personally thought KotCS was a weaker entry in the franchise but I actually like it more and more every time I see it.

I'm hoping for another 2 more for a set of six

There's no comparison between Raiders OTLA and KOTCS. KOTCS makes even the 2nd Indy film look good.

I hope they do make another one. I actualy enjoy Indy 4, it does seem at time I was the only one who did but if they are willing to make another one just for me, that's cool I will gladly take it

Sorry, but you're incorrect. KotCS is a fantastic chapter in the franchise.

In fact, in some ways it's actually better than the original film.

And way better than Indy III and especially Indy II, which is the worst film in the series.

Agreed, Indy 2 is the weakest of all four movies.

The question is: What religious artifact will be the subject of the movie?

Hopefully it's something more universal than the Crystal Skulls (and Sankara Stones, for that matter). The Ark and Grail, even though I'm not remotely religious, still hold a lot more weight and have a much more intriguing backstory.

I'm REALLY hoping they go with someone different for the script (and hopefully it's not a mish mash of sixteen different scripts from sixteen different people, which is exactly what KOTCS was and felt like). The ham-factor in KOTCS was just way over the top for me and just felt totally out of character for Jones.

It's a shame that Spielburg probably wouldn't want to retread what he's done before.

Indiana Jones and the Lost World would have been an interesting chapter.

If they want to continue with the more fantastic things, Indiana Jones and the City of Atlantis.

After all, they tried to update the era of the films that they're homaging with Indy IV.

Indy I - III were basically serials set in the 1930's. And Indy IV was the popular theme of Aliens from the 1950's.

They should go for Atlantis this time around or the Fountain Of Youth, with Indy getting older, might be interesting?
