Default Indy 4 on Blu-ray, who cares?

Do you think that it'll make a difference coming out on Blu-Ray? Think the movie will be able to redeem itself like some other movies such as Cloverfield coming out on Blu-Ray?

EDIT:
What does Indy 4 have to 'redeem'?

I would have to say it will have to redeem itself to the fans of previous titles that were disappointed with the latest installment.

Therefore this poll/thread doesn't apply to everyone and it doesn't have to.

If you don't like it then you do not have to vote nor post in this thread.

I don't think it matters. I may get it if I can pay $10 for it, but it was underwhelming to put it mildly. The sad thing is that Harrison Ford was still pretty good, but the screenplay, especially the ending, was poor.

I had 3 criteria

His hat never leaves his head
He whips something
He gets a royal ass kicking (no one takes a beating like harrison ford, except maybe nathan fillion)

All 3 were satisfied. The movie certainly needed to be tightened up and shortened by 30min or so

The quality of the making-of documentary alone should be worth the price. CE3K bores the crap out of me, but that documentary is awesome

Remember the last scene? His hat was not on the entire time.

It must of been stapled to his head at the time.

The very first scene where Indy makes his entrance, his hat is on the ground.

It was also off his head at the beginning. He had to pick it up off the ground after he was dragged out of the car.

why all the Indy hate? I thought it kicked ass..... It was well executed and I liked the story overall, I do agree it could have been shortended....but really its Indy at its core....the alien story worked well, explaining how us humans gained knowledge of how to build and farm to advance our civilization through the knowledge that these "Interdimesion travelers" brought to the world......havent we always wondered how the prymids were built? heres ur answer from Lucas and co.....I think people are too focused that its aliens and not on the why.....

It was close enough. Those who removed his hat paid the price

I really didn't care about the aliens. Its just the whole 'City of Gold' thing has been played out way too many times. I was expecting something more original coming from Indy. Just think about what the other movies were about and compare. I did hear some people complaining about the ET element, but I agree with you thinking that it only added to the story in a different way. But to get back to my original point, 'City of Gold' has just been played out way too many times and too recent too with National Treasure 2.

Leaving it at the concept or legend that aliens helped early society would have been plausible enough to make this movie pass muster, but inclusion of the physical evidence and the whole spaceship scene just really killed this movie. If Lucas wanted to make sure the that Indy franchise would never live on, then he succeeded with flying colors! I really wish Indy 4 was never made and I will not own it on Blu or SD!

I can't wait to buy it. I'll toss the popcorn into the air and catch it into my mouth during the jungle scenes though.

This poll is ludicrous. My reply to it: I Hate Voting On Blu-Ray.com Polls

Indy 4 was thrilling and spectacular at the big screen theater. I expect no less for the BD release. I am buying the BD for sure regardless of what you think.

First of all, Cloverfield sucked. I've always enjoyed action/adventure movies on BD because it brings me into the movie with astounding picture and audio quality. I've never seen Indy 4 but would like to when it releases on blu. I don't buy movies anymore so I just rent from now on.
