Sure, just download the HD mp4s from youtube and burn them to a DVD-R disc. My SONY Blu-Ray plays them just fine..They look really great too!

I just did a quick search of available art and I must say, most of what was done for this film is remarkably uninteresting. I'm leaning toward using a UK one sheet as I don't recall seeing any video release using this as a cover.

I updated my Star Wars Despecialized Editions!

I've added the Video, Audio and Subtitles information on the back cover, and added the Blu-ray logo since I've re-burned the movies on BR-R instead of DVD-R Double Layers.

That's a beautiful custom. To be completely accurate, only one of Vader's tusks should be silver. Call me crazy, but I saw STAR WARS 25 times between 1977 and 1980, and I actually prefer the current iteration as seen on the blu-ray. Greedo shooting first aside...

Very Nice. Can I get a copy of both (in high-resolution) ?

I don't like digibook either. They don't tell much if anything at all. But for some movies, most of the arts inside are sometimes hard to nearly impossible to find online in good resolution.

Thanks! The illustration is not by me however, I just used it as the front cover (in fact, I used the cover provided by Harmy but modified it to my taste). I also prefer the 2011 Blu-ray editions of the films (shame on me), but I love to own the unaltered trilogy on Blu-ray. The whole thing about the "Hans shoot first" is kind of misleading, the the original movie, Greedo doesn't even have time to shoot. So, technically, Hans doesn't shoot first, he simply shoot!

Glad I'm not the only one. I love the scene with the Dewback's patrolling the Dune Sea, as well as the Jabba scene. If Lucas had been given the time and money, that scene would have always been there, so I'm thankful for the SE.

At the risk of embarrassing myself, here is a cover using art I did in 1983 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of old Kong. I was a junior in art school at the time, and although the quality of my painting has vastly improved in 34 years, I'm still fond of this piece.
