I ended up purchasing it, I use it enough times for the low price it costs, and there doesn't seem to be much better out there!

Yea I think I'm going to have to purchase it. Whenever I create the jpeg in windows I can still use it on my Mac desktop. Question: What size should the file be? and after you create the virtual case image can you just import it directly into this website?

The trouble I've had in the past is that I want to display the cover I've created and in trying I create a smaller version of it and trying to post it on the thread so that it can be viewable without having to click on anything. But when I import the file it never shows it, only a jpeg link to download it. I want people to be able to see it like y'alls covers instead of a "title.jpeg download".

Done .. Might make an alternative set in similar design but with a orange, blue, purple and red background for each movie so it fits the turtles' eye masks.

Ok ... what I do is ...

Create a JPG version of my cover from my Photoshop or Illustrator file on my Mac, a High-Res one that people could use for printing...

Then I switch to my Parallels XP desktop and open Imandix, choose the JPG I created, it asks me if the preview it is showing is the correct one, I say yes. The program pretty well guesses the right case based on my file size...

I export the cover as a PNG file at the Imandix recommended size...

That PNG file I upload to Photobucket where I can link it as an image in my post on blu-ray.com and any site...

The actual cover I upload to my host site on my MobileMe page (I used to use Media Fire)...

I then link the actual cover that is on my MobileMe site as a URL link in a blu-ray.com post.

The actual cover you can upload to different places ... some of the other resident cover artists could probably let you know what they use.

hope that helps.

Thank you very much for the detailed instructions bpm. Quick question: The actual file that is visual and showing in this thread is actually a link of a PNG from photobucket? That made me a little marble mouthed, but I think that's what you're trying to tell me.

Everything bpmford said was right on... as for the image that is displayed on here, I think what your asking is... Don't "Link" it but use the "Insert image" button (the one with the mountain) and put in the address to the location of the image you want to display. This will make it appear in the thread as an image not a link like you were having before. Otherwise everything bpm said was spot on - good directions.

Sure hope someone can help a guy in need of a Battlestar Glactica 4.5 Blu cover, as i just couldnt bring myself to buy the whole collection on Blu. The case 4.5 came in sucked pretty bad! I hate overlapping discs.

Awesome, now that is above and beyond what I was thinking. I'm seriously thinking of transferring them out of the box now.

BTW - your download quota is filled at that link and I'd love to get these.
