Thanks! I really appreciate it. I never made a custom cover before but since I was asking for one, I though I might as well try to do one.

That's not what I meant. I was referring to the cover itself, not the writings. I was saying use the real image from the film. Didn't you paint the cover images?

Looks nice but how about an alternate for those who despise Digital Copy and would only rather have the Blu-rays?
Yes I do put the CD soundtrack with booklet with some Blu-ray releases. Titles with isolated scores don't need it. Was considering going to make some covers for this and a replacement for the titles where people care more about a film soundtrack compared to the idiotic Digital Copy format.

Oh hey thanks! Possibly even add in something for the previous films too since I usually put the soundtrack CD in with the case if there's enough room.
I've been doing the same for all the OO7 films, BATMAN, HIGHLANDER (custom soundtrack) and well just the others in my collection which don't feature an isolated score.

OK, here's the latest update for my "Back to the Future" artwork. I get a kick out of the retail box, but its too bulky compared to my other Blu-Rays...so, I'm trying to replicate it as best I can, while adding a few tweaks of my own. At the moment, I can't find the shot of Doc to go beside Marty, which is why he's centered on the cover. I also don't have a worthwhile shot of the DeLorean, which is why its blended into the lower section (I found a drawing online). As you can tell by the preview, I'm doing two versions; the first is sized for a standard "Amaray" DVD case, for folks who have trouble getting empty Blu cases. The second, of course, is sized down vertically, for the latter packaging. I hope to have more shots in the next few days, but here's what I have for now. Any suggestions?

Just started work on a collected release of all the current seasons of NCIS on Blu. Sadly there is no release set for any of this but they all were shot and aired in HD, so it is only a matter of time. Just wanted to show the style and covers for now, I will be doing the backs soon.

Basically used the front part of this and designed the rest of the cover to match it.
This is made to fit a 4-6 disc Viva Elite case, I will make another one to fit a 3 disc Viva Elite case.

Villain, that is some awesome work. They should've waited until Predators came out on BD, and then release the collection. 4-6 disc Elite is good too because of the DC's.

All kidding aside though, I'm with ya 100% on this one. Why Universal chose to go the digipack route on this set is beyond me. I have no use at all for the DC discs, but I'll be doing a 6-disc spine for this, too, so those who want to include them can do so. I got a different version of the retail pack, with center hubs instead of springs, which means I don't have to worry over breaking anything. As for the cover, the front's already been changed a bit, but I'm waiting to post it until I've made more progress for the back panel. Keep your eyes peeled, for an update in the near future!

Holy crap that's nice! How about a Compact Disc Digital Audio Logo perhaps? I've also been searching for somebody to be willing to have the CD Soundtrack listing on the back of the case for VALKYRIE instead of the Digital Copy bar.
For many releases I own, I usually have put the HD DVD or DVD as the second disc in with the Blu-ray. The opposite where the Blus are with the DVDs since I put a small blue circular sticker on the cover/case. My collection listing should have more details about it.

my Blu-Ray US "Blue Valentine" arrived with the BR jewel case damaged and the printed artwork was a little bit scratched (I'm an oversea customer, so sending it back for a replacement just for the case and the artwork is a little bit annoying) because fortunately the disc itself was totally scratch free.
That was a bitter but frankly beautiful, very moving movie...

So, I'm looking for a custom artwork.
I rarely print alternate artwork, but if someone could make it one for this beautiful movie that would be great ? (perhaps an artwork has already been posted ?)

well if this could be tag-free since the original poster chosen for the BR official artwork was beautiful that would be nice, I don't like the tags "Academy Award Nominee" on the top (it's really too big- almost cover the title of the movie), and the "The Most Provocative Film of The Year" on the front cover...

Oh I see. Sorry I misinterpreted warning images with the FBI warnings

I think that the more stylized cover works better but I can try with the actual scene from the movie.
