The Front is original but the back with the writing going into the picture looks terrible IMHO.

Default Harry Potter custom set?

Can anyone recommend a good custom set of the HP covers for all 8 films? I haven't found a real solid set to go with yet. All suggestions welcome :-)

Hey all, been bored today and started work on like 50 criterion covers, I know ALOT of folks hate the criterion template but I enjoy it, I posted previews of a few of them a few weeks back and nobody seemed to care lol, If anyone is interested I can post a list of al of the covers I currently have in productiom (around 100) and if anyone wants to see what any of them look like just ask and I will post a pic of them. None of them are really all that original but just like runners I found what I thought was good artwork and then went from there, I did "create" a couple of them by taking photos and adding my own touch to them.

I did this cover to try and match the cover that runners did for A Game of Shadows. I know he did his own Sherlock Holmes cover but I felt that the poster was really generic compared to what he found for part 2.

Found it on some cover site a few weeks ago, the front is a custom DVD cover by an artist called easylife I think.

Love those Bond cover you've been posting they are really cool. Also don't mean to be a bugger but The Color of Money isn't on your site yet

yeah, that bugged the hell out of me too, but i was more concerned with the credits being correct at the time. i didn't want any pictures in the blue ribbon at all, cause i wanted to use just the red extras and blue ribbon to work with each other. the pictures are an easy fix. i was thinking of having the pictures run from left to right, running up the top edge of the blue ribbon, might still tweak it. i am just honestly really glad that my credits came out as good as they did, lol.

Lol, I made a typo in the synopsis and I haven't fixed it yet.

Did you see my two Dark Knight Rises covers?

Slow but steady progress on the James Bond covers.
I keep finding small things to adjust as I find better sources for the original covers.

Right now I'm struggling to determine the exact placement of the spine logos like in the US retail covers. Does anyone have an actual scan of one of the original covers, not a rebuild based on the Euro template?

Here are the covers so far:

I'm waiting to see Nissen's work on making the Octopussy TT fit on the spine. I had a dickens of a time and was never particularly happy with the way it turned out on my customs.

Also "You Only Live Twice" involved manipulating the ends of the TT to bring them closer together.

I like your design idea, but not your placements for the back cover. Have you given any thought to placing the movie description below the tag line at the top in a larger font. It needs to be displayed more prominently and the most appropriate place is below the tag line as you would fine on most back covers and for good reason. You could then move the pictures to the strip which would make better use of that area. The bonus features would then get pushed down below the strip. Seems to be the obvious placements to me and would improve the look of your back cover dramatically in my opinion.
