Thanks, Your collection is what inspired me to do them myself. I know that they don't hold a candle to the ones you do but they work for me. I will be uploding all o them I complete to there.

The thing I hate the most about "british covers" is all these ratings logo's they must have all over the covers.

I'll second that!!!!
The size of them and the placing are ridiculous. Half the reason i go for custom covers.

Did a little more work on my TDK Trilogy case. Still a work in progress, but comments are welcome.

I really like it, but I would make the batman logo a bit bigger.

Thanks, and thank you for the feedback. I agree. I had made it a little bigger than I had it before, but looking at it more, you are right. It does need to be a bit bigger.

The covers look awesome. You chose some very cool images and covers for them. Carrie, The Blues Brothers, Doubt, and Brokeback Mountain are especially nice. I'm a stickler on my Criterion editions being for Criterions, but they're quite appealing.

Made a custom for THE SHINING, using the excellent carpet texture by James Random (I think?). Hi-res HERE. Let me know if you spot any typos!

Thanks, I try to find images that are not the same old images used over and over by other artist. Some of them I wish I could have found better images for but I am overall happy with what I found

Default James Bond 007 Custom Blu-ray Cover

Well, another one of these done.
Thanks to the people who have generously donated their time to provide scans, this should now be dead-on accurate with regards to placement of the spine elements.

I also noticed the image of Maud Adams is flipped in the official artwork. I kept it like that, but would like to state my disapproval. People's faces are rarely 100% symmetrical and when you're familiar with a face you can spot it immediately. Very unprofessional.

DrrnHarr, I'm sure you're a little disappointed in how I solved the conversion of the title treatment to fit on the spine, but sometimes it's a matter of knowing what to leave out. The octopus arms just don't make the translation without offsetting the title or making it too small. This was the only way to maintain consistency with the spines of the other films, and uniformity of packaging is the whole reason for doing these covers in the first place.

I think the BOND 50 set even has a few flipped Roger Moore's inside.

I wouldn't be surprised, but he's usually holding a gun in his right hand so they can't get away with it as much. Also, there's his mole on the left cheek :-)

Very cool looking.
Incidentally, I see you include bleeds and crop marks in your files. That is of course the proper way to do it for professional use, but will present a problem to those printing these covers with automated programs like Undercover XP. As well as making at-home cutting a bit more difficult. (The crop marks are cut off as you cut, so you wind up guessing the last two sides.)

I've gone back and forth on this myself, but have seen that the cover community has settled on bleedless files for ease of use. My first few covers had bleed areas, but I soon abandoned it after negative feedback. (On covers with a white background I usually include a thin guideline to cut along.) I feel that the pros far outweigh the cons on bleedless files.

Out of curiosity: Are you doing your covers in a DTP program or making the bleeds by hand in a graphics program like Photoshop? I always like to hear how other people do their covers :-)

Keep up the good work.

Another nice job. Maybe you can create an alternate with the octopus arms on the spine just for kicks?

Thanks. I add the crop marks as a separate layer in the InDesign file, then export the file as an eps with about .1" bleed, then save that as a jpg.

If you trim just past the crop marks, but not to the edge of your paper, the crop marks work fine. If anyone wants a version without bleed, I'd be happy to provide.

At this point, I do customs once in a blue moon, so I'm not current on what's preferred. Don't really care, though I'm happy to share what I have.

This custom - designed to match the 007 series I did - will not be fully ready until the Special Features listing is released, but it is progressing.

Incidentally, the synoposis is left intentionally too long in the chance that the list of Special Features is short. It will be trimmed based on the length of that listing when it becomes known:

I like it! That's not an official poster, is it? Good job finding some good artwork that is a little more exciting than the overly restrained official posters.

It's time we had some Bond in here again.
