For the record, I'm not actually a fan of these particular Michael Bay movies, but I am a Transformers "nerd", hence picking this to start with.
Although I hate the idea of putting franchises into a singular steelbook case... you, sir... have made me over the concept of one!

Default James Bond 007 Custom Blu-ray Cover

GoldenEye cover done.

This actually took some doing, as I couldn't find a good source for an image of Scorupco's shoulder and arm anywhere. In the end I had to swallow my pride and take that part from RobertM's cover (from CustoManiacs). I have to face that he has access to artwork I can't get at.

The Title Treatment proved exceptionally bothersome this time. I wanted to include the ring, but treat it as a separate layer that I could move and resize independantly of the letters. I also had to rearrange the TT to fit neatly on the spine.

For those so enclined, you'll note Pierce has a broken arm just like Connery :-)

See, people piss and moan about custom Criterion covers for movies that aren't released by Criterion, but seriously, why even bother to design a custom Steelbook? Sure, it might look nice but you'll never get the chance to use it as intended.

The extra elbow must have been given to him by Q in a deleted scene....

Thanks! I like & collect individual installments of franchises as well, but I also LOVE all inclusive sets/collections when they're done right. For example, I'll have all the separate Steelbooks of Nolan's Batman movies once TDKR is released, but I'm also definitely getting the trilogy boxset as well. I'm kind of a limited edition & boxset addict, haha.

Fair point, and it's something I even thought about as well. But at the end of the day, who cares, some of us simply like the idea of 'what could have been'. And like I said in my post, I actually designed this (and others I'm working on) to be printable Blu-Ray covers first & foremost, then retrofitted to also be Steelbook mock-ups.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't complaining about the art, I think your design is incredible (and I can't stand the Bay Transformers movies) but for a custom Steelbook, I really don't see the point.

Welcome to the fun thread that is custom cover art Mut If I had one critique, I'd drop the 07-11 and stick to movie trilogy only. Good job and don't be discouraged. I wish I had the computer skills that you guys have. Guess I should have stayed up on my computer skills after I graduated ages ago

I actually originally had it as "movie trilogy" only, but then added the "2007-2011" bit simply since there's more movies on the way and I wanted to differentiate the original three from the new Wahlberg one(s). But who knows, I might change the subtitle altogether and just call it "collection" or something... since it's technically no longer just a trilogy. Either way, thanks for the feedback.

He could always make a sticker-book after picking up a blank Steelbook case.

Not entirely happy with the bulk text, and I messed up the last line. Will edited it tomorrow, and maybe even have a shorter synopsis.

Thoughts though?

Titanic look AMAZING rdz and those 2 universal monsters are great with the mondo art, hopefully you can find hi-res versions of the mondo posters for the remaining Universal Monsters

I agree that the text on the back needs a little work but overall it's a great cover

Yes I agree about the text as well. The summary text should not run into (or under) the info on the right side of the back cover.

Overall, it's looking very nice though.

The title is a little hard to read as well. Might want to keep the art to the front cover only and not spread it over to the title section.

You're right, Criterion never changes the box font unless its one of Wes Anderson's movies where the entire cover is drawn.
