These are absolutely perfect. I'll obviously wait until we know the complete details of the 30th Anniversary edition before attempting to download and print these though, and I hope that any specs will reflect that release .

One thing though, is it possible to create maybe an alternate version that has the "National Lampoon's" verbiage on the cover/spine?

Looks good, but I'd reconstruct the poster so the title of the first 2 films don't cover up his hand and what he's holding. Looks really awkward IMO.

Guaranteed. Will let you know.

The physical size of a Blu-ray cover doesn't allow it. I have a back-up plan waiting to be executed. More will come soon.

Another vote for National Lampoon in the logo. It's always been there.

Great looking work.

Last year, I finished these Friends sets. Not everybody asking for them got them, because I really got flooded with requests. If you didn't get them back then or want them now, please pm me your email asap. Thanks!

Been a long time since I've done any customs. Decided to convert my custom Star Wars set to BluRay. Here's as far as I've gotten to just give ya an idea.

Default I'm lost :/

Hi all,
I'm assuming this is the right thread for my question. If not, sorry in advance.
I noticed some BDs that have (front) cover art, including the BD case, yet they're obviously custom-made. If there's no release date, news, etc. then it must be a sort of wishlist member contribution...?
If so, does anyone know of a cover template I could use, along with specs/recommendations on how to create these. I have Photoshop; no expert but willing to try.
Thanks

the white pops out too much, try a light grey, something to dull out that bright white would be my first suggestion

I used to work for Hewlett-Packard and I can tell you that photo wise, an inkjet is far superior for photos than any consumer color laser printer.

Hmmm.... Opinions are like behinds, everyone's got one :-)

The front: Are you sure you want to go with this image? It really doesn't sell the films well. Looks like Phantom of the Opera at first glance.

The logo: You have the words too far apart. There's no cohesiveness. The original Death Race title treatment is pretty elaborate. Don't you like it? "Unrated" also needs to be placed with more thought. Perhaps in a different colour to the title?

The back: It looks quite haphazard. If you can do without the "BD-Live/pocket blue" stuff I'd omit that first. I'd suggest you make three columns and put everything pertaining to each movie separately. Film title first, then a screenshot (find some with a little action), a short synopsis, then the audio/video specs and a the list of extras.

General:
Margins. Leave a little breathing room along the edges. Don't put any writing/logos closer than 5mm to the edge.
Instead of a blank black background, try something with a little texture to it. It will liven up your cover considerably. Try something "dusty", with browns, greens and sepias to match the colour of your front image (should you decide to keep it.) Google "texture" and select "large images" to see what's out there.

You're off to a good start but it really needs more work and refining. I'm looking forward to seeing it evolve.

Thanks a lot for all the constructive criticism, I'll definitely play around with the back to see if I can't make it more cohesive, and if I can't ill attempt something else entirely for the series.

Default Star Trek Collection

So I've been having more requests for this set than normal, maybe because the new one is just 3 months away, but instead of trying to reply to everyone with 14 download links for each reply, Im just going to make these available for a while again. Enjoy. And for those who have been patiently waiting, thank you! I've also added a temp filler for ST XII: Into Darkness - which I will add more to as I get more details on the actual plot.

The Captains Summit
Evolutions
The Motion Picture
The Wrath of Khan
The Search for Spock
The Voyage Home
The Final Frontier
The Undiscovered Country
Generations
First Contact
Insurrection
Nemesis
Star Trek 2009
Into Darkness
