These were commisioned by a client who is a huge James Bond fan and wanted people to be able to print matching covers for their abandoned 2008 set of 007 Blu-ray releases. I was originally hesitant to take such a project on, but he insisted and so three months of work ensued.

Thankfully, I didn't have to start from scratch.

The key art was approximated by HvB from CustoManiacs and I further refined it. Some portions of the artwork were borrowed from RobertM's previous set with his approval.
I just registered on CustoManiacs as a newbie, so I can print the "missing 9" Bonds. Saw the threads by RobertM but not sure if this is what I'm looking for, or if you have something better?

Also I've never printed one before and wondering, what kind of printer and paper I would need to make these look authentic?

Thanks for all the feedback and input I've gotten :thumb:

Updates with final template I've created.

And the spines next to each other. The spacefield continues across the 6 covers; 7 with Special Features.

Send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send it over!
Thanks, glad you like it!

Also, I'm not sure if this is allowed here or not, I will delete it if it's not. But I don't have any way to print these for myself and was curious if there is anyone who would be willing to print copies for me? I could pay shipping if necessary!

Regarding The Lion King cover, it is one of the ones I'm currently working on, along with Fantasia and Pinocchio, I'm really unhappy with the way it is turning out though, so I will likely start from scratch. It's in the works though!

So any suggestions for getting a 12mm Viva Elite spine down to 6mm? Need to do some space saving and I'm also doing some combining of titles. Especially the 2-Disc Blu-ray/DVD combos which have hardly the majority of features on the Blu-ray but the majority on the DVD.
Just conversions from the 2-Disc 12mm Viva Elite to the 2-Disc 6mm Viva Elite Slim.

Metrock does do orders for printing covers and the like.

The front and back would remain the same size, so you would simply need to create a new spine.

If you want it to be the same, only thinner, I would shrink it down to the size you need it, rearrange it a bit, so that the logos and title fit the new length without being stretched or smashed and then fill in the empty spaces.

Change it in Illustrator first before moving to Photoshop? It's more for compilations and to save space. Yes I have all the CS6 programs for Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

I've done some cases like this before for the Ninja Turtles but after seeing Nissen's cases for the Avengers Initiative and and learning from his extensive step by step of creation I've started working on my own Reel Heroes cases. Now my skills are nowhere near Nissen's but I'm still happy with the outcome. Thanks to Nissen for the walkthrough.

Those are excellent, though my only nitpick is that Evil Dead II really should have it's own proper TT rather than the first film's.

Hey, someone actually read all that? :-) These are great AKAP, and I'm glad to see you're playing around a little with the Reel Heroes template, and not sticking to just boxes like the commercial covers.

Speaking of which, here is my last Reel Heroes cover, a Hellboy cover to match the officially released Hellboy II.

I don't know if I can share this or not, but I'll ask.
