Couple of new covers that were entered in a competition.
Blade came in at first place

BLADE: The Daywalker Collection

MATRIX: The Complete System
Custom for same comp as blade but customised to hold the 3 movies and animatrix. Cover came in at second place.

Note the collection covers for both could problably make a good slip case design but will leave that down to Metrock lol.

I have 2 covers currently work in progress
Crying Freeman which i have the discs for the french Bluray so decided to
do a cover for it, material for this film pretty much sucks. So doing it in a different direction.

Good hi-res logos can be found on Wikipedia also. You type the studio, click on the logo and usually you can found 2000px resolution logo, like this one:

Using the forum attachment feature/converting to jpgs , sometimes introduces artifacts like the ones you can see around the red Lucasfilm logo above , they are not in the original - I've gotta find an alternative

Disliking the Digibook idea, I went ahead and scanned the loose back page and reduced it to size, did the same with the Digibook cover, added a spine and put it in a standard Blu-ray keep case. I think the spine might be too fat, but it was a decent attempt:

Okay, this thread has inspired me enough. I'll show you guys what I can't do with a paint brush in the next few weeks. I'm going to do one for Special, which is only a DVD release, but that's all I'm motivated for right now. I can only paint and don't have any software for lettering, so if someone would be so kind as to help me out with that, I'd appreciate it.

i use photoshop myself, but i believe that some use a program called GIMP, which is a free download. that might help you out. and btw, when you start creating your custom covers, you are going to find it like being addicted to crack, and you won't be able to stop, lol.
