The only problem is that I think some of the spam ads on that website may be trying to infect my computer with herpes. I could just be imagining things, but you should use caution just in case.QUOTE]

I havent used that site in years my virus programs used to go nuts with that site, i think too I may have gotten some stupid adware in the past from.
I avoid cdcover.cc like the plague personally.

I personally would say browse forums for covers. I have been very happy with this forum, AVS, and Hi Def digest and feel the artists that contribute are great.

While I am registered on a few custom cover sites I use them for templates, logo's etc only. I personally don't agree with paying for the downloads.

Thanks for the confirmation, I thought it might be that site that was messing with me. It is on the short list of sites that I only use really quickly to find one thing I need and then close it out. Sometimes with sites like that I try to use it when I have a downloading program eating up most of my bandwidth so the ads don't try to load, but that site the picture you are trying to download seems to be the very last part of the page to load.

I officially revoke my recommendation of that site. Any other suggestions for a good free custom DVD cover site? Also any good sites for downloading decent quality scans of official retail covers?

This is a good idea, I've seen these sheets that you can use in ink-jet printers, but I'm not sure how it would turn out or the print quality on those sheets is like.

I love the idea though!
I don't think I''l be trying it out through, my cutting out skills are a bit poor. I once cut a decent portion off one of my fingers off trying to cut card with a scalpel, luckily they were able to reattach it at the hospital.

That's hilarious that you bring that up! I tried that first so I wouldn't have to cut, but when I got it in the case it was way to lite and too hard to read. Because transparencies make everything transparent, the light spots didappear and the dark spots become light. It was kind of funky, but you couldn't see Joker's face or read any of the info on the back. If only you could print it on clear film with no transparency on the image area!

Oh, and while playing I came up with a version 2 of the cover ... Haven't printed yet, but will post when I do. I might even reprint my original one and use this image on the inside of the cover or visa versa!

I like the second version better because the spine, it appears, will make sense when the case is closed and look like a full/Balanced image. The joker version seems like its needs to be spread open to see the full picture so to speak, 2nd version works both ways.

Their both awesome though

Love these covers, and the multiple options is just a great addition. Question is now I'm really curious, do yellow blu-ray cases exist?

Fantastic job on the covers! I am curious to know if anyone has a link to an I Am Legend CE 3 disc version of a cover. I came across a really old one at AVS, but I am hoping there is a more recent one. Several of us purchased the 3 disc version of the movie during BF but the discs come in a huge box, so in order to add them to our collections, we need a case and a custom cover. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure which one you saw, but here is the one I posted on AVS a while back...definitly would not consider it really old. Regardless this will fit the 3 and 4 disc Vortex cases. I didn't do any credits or specs on this as I didn't want to ruin the mood that this cover creates. Anyway here it is...

PM for Full Res File

Has anyone here done a Terminator Quadrilogy Cover for all 4 movies? I'm not sure of the case size, but I have an extra 4 disc case that came with my angels and demons.

Canada bpmford - Batman Pair

Well, here is the final work ... I decided on my second version as it fit better with the new one!

This should give you an idea how they will turn out if you decide to do them. They look pretty good on the shelf ... different from others, but that just makes them cooler.

If you want to do the back pic like mine, just choose whatever picture and you want, make it the bigger than the cover to be safe, then print on both sides!

If you are not sure what these covers are about, I introduced them further down the page!

The Dark Knight & Batman Begins

-

* They look not bad mixed in with my other customs!

This is my original one:

* For mine I used a 2-disc case and turned both discs out so the pictures would show through the front and back!

The Dark Knight & Batman Begins

I said this before, but here it is again...

For those who actually might be interested in printing it, the cover is on my cover site formatted to standard size with white as the background color. Like me, you will have to print it and do some fine cutting to get the right shape (and centering it in the case is its own challenge!). If anyone wants a PDF version with a transparent background, PM me!

(The display actually took longer than the cover, since Imandix's preview covers have no blue behind the actual cover, I had to Photoshop it in, not a perfect job, but it worked well enough!)

*On another note, I printed them on transparency again ... they looked much better and quite cool, but could use a clear Blu-ray case to make the covers pop out more!

Enjoy!

Thumbs up Bpm

BPM don't know if this is asking too much, but do you think you could do a variant version of your Dark Knight custom? I really like that cover, but I think it could also be very slick without the cut out element. That shot of the city is so sweet I think it would make for a very clean "traditional" custom cover, all the way stretched out instead of the bat cut out. If you don't want to do it I completely understand, but I would love to have that on my shelf.

Awesome cover bpmford!!! You guys do great work with these custom covers, most of the time they're better than the original covers. I'm nowhere near as skilled as you all are with this. I wouldn't dare attempt this myself, so I was wondering if you could do up something along the lines of below combined with your work above???

I don't think so, I found the poster on the website and made it into the front of the cover. Maybe Bunny dojo had made one like that, but I never saw that before.
