Those covers are so lurid — if that's meant to represent the "expanded colour" in any way, then I'd call that a disincentive.

Laughing at the glowing eyes on Glory — they look like Goa'ulds from Stargate!

It would be interesting to see the difference in PQ on a 1080p screen if any. The reason I mainly bought Superbit DVD's was for the DTS track not the enhanced picture.

I think on an 84" TV you could notice it but on my 55" who knows, it will be interesting to see the first reviews of the mastered in 4K line.

Really, I personally loathe DTS. It muddles dialogue way too much and requires you to crank up your stereo too high.

Tempting to sell my Spider-Man 1 for the "superbit" blu-ray. Extras I usually don't care about the Spider-Man is an exception.

You're the 10th person I came across who said that. I simply expected no grain since DNR is expected for 3D conversions. Wonder what I'll see when I go watch the second time

I'm down for Ghostbusters. Maybe Spider-man if it drops to $9, sucks cause I have the box set already. Are 2 & 3 already mastered from 4K source? I thought they looked great. Probably a no to Amazing though, seems like it just came out and this version is $28???

This is the movie that I want in 4K it's a Columbia Picture, plus it was an early Blu ray so it was an MPEG-2 an AVC and with the 20 anniversary of the horrible event coming up they may re-release it. I want all the extra's that were on the 3 disc DVD edition

They released this in MPEG-2 also while it looks great I want to see what a 4K AVC encode would look like with DTS MA all the extras from the collectors edition and I would like the uncut version while were at it.

The rights lie with Fox/MGM anyway. No 'Mastered in 4K' Casino Royale Blu-ray for you!

Wouldn't mind seeing Black Hawk Down given the 4K treatment though, good call on that one.

I wonder if this means that a 4k of Ghostbusters II isn't far off since it still hasn't got a standard Blu-ray release as of yet.

Call me crazy, but I kind of wanna see some titles from Sony that weren't already released. You know, like Tootsie, Ghostbusters II, Bad Boys II, Candyman, Punch-Drunk Love, etc?

Would it be so hard to release Tootise with that hideous "Mastered in 4K" on the cover and all those other banners plastered all over it?

I'm in for 8 out of the 10 titles if and only if the reviews "Highly Recommend" the upgrades.

How many people who want these have kit that supports xvYCC? Apart from probably a higher bitrate encode (to compensate for 4K upscaling), most of these will look very similar to the original releases.

But still the proof will be in the viewing. And of course BDinfo scans.
