LOL, I totally steered clear of that one applemac -- but you went right for it.

It's a sad irony that movies today are such strong technical achievements, but are sorely lacking where it matters most.

I hope so. 2-wheelin, be it competitive or for commuting (with camera equipment and such - http://www.tenba.com/ ) seems to elicit across a wide range of viewers, comments like….

Heads-up fellow Insider Robert Z. , the gauntlet has been thrown again by the west coast (Tom).…”Southern California's Video & Audio Center will once again scoop the retail industry by offering the first 4K Blu-ray player to consumers Friday afternoon….”

I guess I assumed 'ruined' implied something good was released poorly.

Are any of the titles listed below confirmed releases, or are they just someone's wish of a release? They are all in blu-ray.com's database of 4K blu-ray titles.
  • Spectre
  • Edge of Tomorrow
  • The Revenant
  • Suicide Squad
  • Deadpool
  • Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
  • X-Men: Apocalypse
  • Ghostbusters 1 & 2

I’ve got to be more careful with you members of the animal kingdom for I think you may be communicating with each other on the down low…..https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...at#post9448404

If you and your feline friends ever desire to get really into the digital compositing tool I turned you onto a few weeks back and care to set up an ACES S-Log/S-Gamut workflow….

Start by downloading the current ACES OCIO config from here….https://github.com/hpd/OpenColorIO-Configs , point nuke at: aces_1.0.1/config.ocio and then create an OCIOColorspace node and set the in to: "Input - Sony - S-Log1 - S-Gamut.

That’ll do ya.

It's still a prototype though, and playing non-commercial test discs at that. I'm more alarmed by the pic of the Samsung player with only one HDMI out, but then I guess that's another demo/prototype in action.
