Do you know why it is saying 2 discs? I thought this was 4 disc set, or does the reprint no include the extra blu-rays?

I honestly didn't even look at the details when I ordered, but yeah that looks to be the case. Oh well, that's unfortunate.

I also got a "Ship Confirmation" email from ImportCDs several hours ago---big thanks to MifuneFan for the tip! I'd never even heard of that site before.

ImportCDs describes it as a "Four-disc set" in the page's Product Notes, but below that it says, "Number of Discs: 2" in the Technical Information section:

Okay managed to get a backorder in with deepdiscount after making a mess of my first attempt.

It seems to me that the importcd website and deepdiscount are actually the same company and have the same info, one part saying 2 discs the other saying 4 further down the page.

Has anyone that ordered a "backorder" from deepdiscount for this release in the past day had a shipping notification yet?

I can see some people with the importcds order have so if they are linked perhaps they will.come from the same place?!

Out of interest to those that ordered from import cds, why did you choose that site over deepdicount? And did it say back order or just a regular order when you placed the order?

Honestly, I didn't realize DeepDiscount was an option---I saw MifuneFan post the link for ImportCDs and pounced on that.

I've never ordered from DD before, but I remember looking them up months & months ago, and seeing a lot of bad reviews & complaints about incorrect billing, incorrect/damaged items, poor/non-existent customer service, etc, so I kinda wrote them off & forgot about them. Have people here been satisfied with DD?

When I ordered LoA 4K from ImportCDs, it was as a Back-Order.

Being based in Canada, Import Cds and Deep Discount are a necessity for me to be able to continue with this hobby. They can get me anything but certain store exclusives, and their shipping is a lot more favourable than Amazon.

For steelbook collectors, yes they ship in those sticky brown packages but they seem to offer much better protection than risking Amazon. I've probably had at least a dozen over the last year arrive in excellent condition, no way Bozo's site could guarantee that.

I swore them off years ago after more than one bad customer support experience.

Also, I wanted to cancel an order right after making it, but they ignored the request for 3 days until it shipped, then told me I would have to wait for it to arrive to return it at my expense.

I advise you to be wary of them. I'm sure there will be plenty of "they work for me" posts, there always is. It's your choice.
