For steelbook collectors, yes they ship in those sticky brown packages but they seem to offer much better protection than risking Amazon. I've probably had at least a dozen over the last year arrive in excellent condition, no way Bozo's site could guarantee that.

Nice to see others from Canada here . Yes its hard to get some movies for a decent price . Many steelbooks like the scream series arent evne available on amazon .ca even the halloween set with 6 , h20 and resurrection was hard to get and pricey.

I just ordered this movie , i have never seen it, but it was one of my dads favourites so I want to watch it. Its also why i bought the 10 commandments. He loved it , but as a kid i never sat through it with him. I found it boring. Now I want to check movies out that he enjoyed.

It's surprisingly still up at Amazon currently.

I placed an order with them on August 31st. At the time they had it for $45.99 and my estimated delivery date was October 10th-11th. Now they have it listed for $40.86 and the estimated delivery date is October 3rd. But my original order did not automatically update to the new price and date. I placed a new one and cancelled the previous order.

I think the reason Amazon's price went down to $40.86 is because the listing on Walmart's website went down from $54 as of September 3rd to now showing $40.86 (although it says out of stock for them currently). I don't know if copies went live on Wally World and none of us here caught it or they simply changed the price on the listing, but either way I'll take it.

A bit bummed I missed out on Target both times it went up on there, as I'd get 5% off $30.99 with my Red Card, but of course I'm just happy to get an order in for it with any of the various major retailers.

It'd be real nice if Sony would put out individual UHD releases of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, A League of Their Own, Anatomy of a Murder, and The Devil's Backbone.

We should be grateful for Sony's work to save the original negative, not complaining about a miracolous effort

Dr Strangelove in the same boxset comes from a 2004 4K Master and it's still amazing...

Thanks managed to grab one. I also have a back order from deepdiscount so hopefully both won't let me down and I can grab a copy!

Also Mr Smith goes to Washington, has an individual release in Spain, I have it. Just thought I'd let you know. Not sure about the others.

Just put up on ebay as a new listing.Pick one copy up for $32.82 total from blowitoutof here site.About 8 copies remain brand new steelbook 4k.Bought from them many times.Good luck all those hunt for one.Take care.

At this point I would like them to just remove the high frequency filter so more of the film detail can be seen.

Heh yeah now it's showing as available on Amazon (for $52.98) for me too, but it says there are no sellers shipping to my location. I guess the ones Amazon had are gone and those left are not shipped by Amazon themselves? It won't actually show the sellers for me. I still have my backorder on importcds so I just hope they actually get enough in stock to send me a copy.
