Bill Hunt on Digitalbits release list at the very bottom has this paragraph.

They aren't waiting until 2022. UHD disc might not even be around then, who knows.

Lol my thoughts exactly. But maybe Sony is waiting for the PS5 release to roll out a few big UHD titles at the same time? Just spitballing here.

That Digital Bits blurb has been around since 4K Blu-ray launched. Sony likes to trot out Lawrence of Arabia demos for all the new format launches but they take their sweet time with the actual release.

That make-up back then on the male lead is so cringeworthy and I don't even think Michael Myers could take him. It's that scary bruh. And that's just in 1080p, can you imagine 4K HDR

The movie is available on Swedish website https://www.discshop.se/ for the price of 149 SEK
It's actually part of a campaign where you can choose 3 4K UHD movies for 399:-
As far as I can see this release includes English subtitles
I haven't bought it myself yet,being a nerd I only want the original slip/cover and will patiently wait for the American or the UK release!

My eyes betrayed me,as it was actually 'Bridge on The River Kwai' 4K UHD and unfortunately not 'Lawrence Of Arabia' which was on sale

The release date for 'Bridge' was 2017,Dec 4,btw.
