They better ship it ASAP, although it says September 11th the expected arrival date, i remember with The Abyss it arrived a lot quicked than the date they gave so, i am currently directing all my positive energy to Spain.

It almost seems like you're ignoring me, an actual Spaniard who knows damn well what goes on with these steels, in here. It only happens with these limited steels and usually with Warner, Universal and Sony steels.

You may keep the order if you wish, but trust me, you are not getting it. You might have luck with DVDStoreSpain. Hell, I only get them with luck or because I rely on small stores here, who actually do send you the stuff if you manage to order it.

Do you already have the standard Blu Ray of LOA?
Yeah, I was trying to buy this UHD release two, three years ago already, with similar result - OOP everywhere in Europe outside of one or two Amazon Marketplace sellers with some bonkers price tag. So I got pissed and bought standard, cheap Blu-ray instead. Then I got buyer remorse, and it still remains unsealed LOL. But depending on current order, maybe not for long :P

r.e. bonus discs is dvdcompare.net incorrect here? As shows the same bonus features for all the releases
I had the exact same message (that I highlighted above in bold) on my Amazon order as well. However; since yesterday the arrival notice has been updated to Arriving Today. Although I'm still waiting on that dispatch email from Amazon UK at the moment.

UPDATE:

I've just got a shipping delay email for LoA 4K steelbook about 15 minutes ago from Amazon UK. My pre-order then changed over from arriving today to order received. I have no idea how long it's going to arrive in my hands at this point. If my 1st ever pre-order for this movie, which was made on the 23rd of June 2025, is eventually cancelled by Amazon UK. I would be majorly disappointed when that day comes. Fingers crossed it doesn't get cancelled.

I at least ordered fully aware that Amazon were likely screwing us all over, having seen complaints about that happening with Arrow pre-orders, as everywhere else had sold out. But I also used a £10 voucher for buying with the app on it, bet I won’t get that back

How many orders of yours have they not fulfilled? and i'm not ignoring you, i'm making back up plans if Amazon Spain don't pull through for me based on your prior comments, but i would also like to remain hopeful about my chances of getting this movie from Amazon.

Very nice, enjoy watching it for those of us still stuck in the LOA 4K void.

I wonder what you guys usually do with the J-card on steelbooks?

It's just a flimsy piece of paper attached by a sticker, which is not very nice and gets in the way when opening the box. You can of course toss it in the bin, but I like to keep and now the specs which are printed on it.

Personally I'm not so fond of steelbooks and rather get standard edition if available. I've only got two including LoA. The last one was 2001 ASO, and on that one I cut the J-card so only the "back cover" part was left which I attached to the back of the steelbook box using double sided tape. Not so nice, but the best I could think of.

Any other better ideas what to do with the J-card?

The ones that wrap around the bottom I keep on once it's inside the steelbook protector/plastic wrapper, if they attach on top like these Sony ones then I remove them and store them away.

Store them where, and how do you organize them in a way that you relate them to a specific steelbook box?

I keep a shoebox with all the j-cards. Keeps them out of the way but I still have them around if I ever decide to sell a movie.

Ok, but then how to you keep track of which J-card belongs to which steelbook? Or you rarely have/intend to look it up, so it'll be a "search mission" to match them?

I keep the ones that Disney use - with the "bottom sleeve". The ones that are basically just taped or glued piece of cardboard with specs I put in a drawer or just throw away.

Yep, same. I don't organisise them, but after a quick shuffle thru the box I usually find what I'm looking for.
