He's talking about a problem with the Spanish version editions being shipped with the wrong disc for the extras where it only had the original extras disc for the standard Blu version and not the new disc included with the 4K edition which has new extras i think.

Thank goodness I thought there was a problem on the first pressing of the US edition.

Does Amazon actually have this in stock? I know I can order it, but it says 2-4 weeks for it to ship.

I’d like to have the 4K but I’m not keen on the steeelbook. But I don’t want to mess with it if I’m just going to get stuck in Amazon’s fulfillment purgatory.

It should do, it's only the Spanish site that messes people about, the US and UK sites should be fine, better be quick though, it's not gonna be in stock for long.

Sony have been listing copies of it on their Ebay store, so it seems to be back in print. Probably to coincide with the international releases.

I ordered yesterday; Amazon says it won't be delivered 'til between Sept 17-29, but I've already got my four-disc black Amaray case ready, wrapped in the old Blu-ray artwork... so the steel can come dented to hell and I won't mind, as long as the 4K discs inside are pristine. But if it DOES come entirely "mint", feel free to remember me and reach out if any of you receive a steel that's all dented up -- 'cuz I won't be using mine no matter what shape it's in.

It seems the only way to get in a keep case right now would be China/Asia. Like on Ali Express.

I'm not to keen on the damn tin can either, but I'd rather take my chances with Amazon than with some anonymous Chinese seller.

For people wondering why Sony still keeps this title limited and doesn't put out a standard release:

This steelbook is over 3 years old at this point and it's only been 2 days since coming back in stock.

They should just officially announce the Sony Vault and stop teasing. At least Disney let you know when they were going to make you panic buy.

Frankly I don't like the steelbook's artwork (almost looks like a SciFi movie or a theme from The Little Prince) and would have preferred something vintage original like this

but since Amazon Germany only had 6 copies to offer (now sold out and back to twice the price) and since the steelbook ends up on the shelf anyway (the 2012 Blu-ray deluxe edition is on display in my home theater) I made a quick decision.

I went ahead and ordered it with 3 other movies hoping that together they might make a solid enough package to survive undamaged, maybe even (perish the thought) merit a box.

But my luck will be they ship the other 3 movie immediately because they have them in hand and then 2-4 weeks later send this steelbook all by itself almost certainly resulting in damage.

Just put my order through with Amazon with the gift wrap bag hoping to the dark gods that the box makes it through unscathed. I have only received one dented steelbook from Amazon and that was because I forget to get it wrapped (imo).
