Yes I know and I didn't buy that collection because I have no desire to own those other films on UHD. My wondering was about the possible reason for the absence of an individual release, which I certainly would buy.

I'm pretty certain this film will see an individual release at some point.

I saw the 4K UHD of Lawrence on Amazon Digital last night for 5 minutes. Called Amazon an got a Refund ! The PQ was Dark and the sand was Green ! Green patches all over the screen. Terrible ! The Bluray is Much Better. I can wait for the solo 4K Disc.

Well thats too bad because the version I watched on Vudu looked AMAZING. Zero complaints on my end for the $6 I spent on it months ago. Still plan to buy a physical release when it’s available though.

I would NEVER buy it digital. Especially not kind of this movies. But right, I also don't want buy the whole set just for this movie. It's a bit weird this marketing strategy of Columbia Pictures/Sony.

Hope there will be once a single release. The step from DVD to a restored bluray version were immense. And I suppose it looks amazing in 4k.

The movie based on true events. When you like older movies / big ones then you might like it.

I bought the 4K digital copy a few years back before this disc came out and thought it looked great when I watched it on iTunes. It's regularly on sale for $5 so if you don't want to wait for an individual release, there are worse crimes in the world. My first watch of Lawrence of Arabia was a pan and scan airing on cable in the 90s so who am I to judge?

An with MA you can buy on Amz on sale and watch in iTunes. Obviously disc will be better, but if it’s cheap and you don’t want to buy the boxset, it’s what you have.

LoA (Sony?), TGTBTU (soon from Kino Lorber), and 2001 ASO (Warner Bros.) all on 4K disc 5 years into the format soon.

The Best Cinematography of the 60's.

I'd say physical disc film watching is dead at this rate. Really sad LOL! I'm surprised no one much cares anymore...these films are impressive on low end 4k tv sets too. We must be entering a new intellectual and financial dark age...or 99% of people stealing it off the internet?

If physical media collecting/watching is dead, then why is the Columbia Classics set including LoA currently selling for like $300?

Waiting for the inevitable re-release here...

I'm sure there's a bunch of 1 sports (take your pic basketball, baseball etc.) cards that go for more on eBay. This was a limited set so the price. That's the only reason. Rarity factor. No one really cares about these discs but an extremely small video file group. I certainly do not, but I can afford the internet and a 200.00/300.00 dollar Amazon tri-band router and get a perfect stream, unlike the geniuses above me Lulz.
