lol wut. Personally speaking, I didn't miss out on anything - I just didn't need a big set with movies I didn't want. I was willing to wait for a standalone edition but, goodness, I want all the extras that belong on this release. No reason not to port them over.

I'm sure this has been discussed to death somewhere if I knew on which pages to look, but does the 5.1 track (presumably the same across the various BD and UHD releases?) bear any strong similarity to the original 70mm mix?

Well the box owners still have the best artwork and of course received the disc in advance so that's good enough for me. I'll probably pick up Kwai for the DV but think I have everything I need for Lawrence

Like someone else posted, I could care less about the artwork or steelcase. This will nestle quite nicely within my collector’s edition box set.

Do steel books tend to go down in price? The preorder price is pretty high…do they usually go down by release date?

The Ten Commandment started at $35 and dropped about $10. It will drop but probably not much due to its popularity.

Knew this would get announced eventually. With what I sold the 4K from Columbia Set 1, it more than paid for the set and this release.
