After finishing it last night I must add this is one of the finest mastering of a classic I have seen and love the Dolby Atmos as well .
One of the most filmic PQ 4K's I've seen , well worth owning .
I still think the deluxe edition box set BD still looks great but I'll never watch it again because of the 4K version .
A+ 10 OUT OF 10 for me .

Last I checked
Best Buy was shipping and had store stock
Bullmoose instore (Maine, NH) and shipping though the listed store inventory was shrinking fast
Barnes and Noble had store stock -- over 1/2 the stores I know carry movies still list in-stock
Zia Records seems to be shipping and in-store (AZ/NV)

Hm, went ahead and decided to pick this up from my local B&N for $32 since it doesn't look like supply will last much longer. That's more than I'm usually willing to spend for a home movie purchase, but Lawrence is one of those titles where the exception is warranted, especially given this film's limited release history on 4K so far. I know what I'm doing this evening now.

Just received my Italian 4k steel book and have to say I love the look of it, once you rip off the j card. Also, the spine is in English and the 4k discs are the same for all EU editions. £30 well spent and has all 4 discs.

There are four Best Buy stores within 5 miles of me and three of them showed it as in stock on the website.
I just missed getting it as a pick-up order at one but just got back from picking it up at my second choice. So yes, there are still copies out there.

But who seriously thinks that a company seeing this much demand won't press up more? (rhetorical)

I've got a few available locally as well. I'm sure they'll press more but I'm not sure how long they'll product the Steel-which shouldn't be a problem as many disliked the artwork.

The rhetorical answer would be smart people who took note of the fact that Columbia Classics Vol 1 and the Ghostbusters set have not returned despite massive demand.

Started watching this tonight and I have to say this looks phenomenal in 4K. You couldn't even tell it was filmed 60 years ago.

Guys, this is the most I've ever spent on a 4K disc(34.99 after taxes) I hope I'm not disappointed! I'm pretty sure I wont be though.

I've never seen the movie by the way... but I know it's the type of classic I love and ashamed I've missed out on.

I always assume when big studios release "Limited" or "Collector" editions of movies that it's just marketing but not in this case! I had this on one of my AMZ wishlists and was hoping to wait a few months for it to go on sale for ~$20 but they ran out of inventory before that happened... Luckily Best Buy still has it in stock so I went ahead and ordered a copy, should be arriving tomorrow.
