Like I said, I'm worried more about my parents who are both in there mid 70s, I don't want to lose them this year over this.
Keep them safe, try to convince them to stay home. Hope they're fine.

I had a cold like 3 weeks ago. Everytime I get one I have a cough that stays with me for weeks. Have to do sinus flush and everything. I'm sure I scare some people.

Picked up a few packs (three 4-packs) of TP at Big Lots today after work. It was Black Friday crowded and everyone I saw while walking through the store also had TP.

Try Home Depot or Lowes, even Staples I think stocks a bit of that stuff. But damn Wabo, last minute shopping haha, I hope you at least have stocked up the liquor cabinet.

It's not going to be the end of society. 99% of people will live through it. But considering the world's population, 1% death is going to be a hell of a lot of people.

So yeah, a lot of people will die, but not everyone. Will most of us get sick from the virus? Most likely. And that's the scary part.

Several of my friends no longer have jobs. But I am worried they aren't done yet, considering this may last for months.

I have $2,000 in my checking account, but that will evaporate fast if I'm not making any money due to my workplace being closed.

I am through talking about this.

The messed up thing is, people probably have it and don't know it and can't get tested.

For insurance purposes, my job is safe. I work in several different places (four places this week alone) and cannot avoid travel, though I do work on my own so I don't come into contact with a lot of people.

Not being smug, but this won't affect me. I tend to live my life outside of the "normal" brackets and fall through the cracks most of the time. I'm fairly self-sufficient.

However, I bit into a scalding hot pizza the other day, with cheese like lava, which burned my lips. Now I've got a giant, bleeding scab and everyone looks at me like I have leprosy or a skanky, horrible cold sore.

Just a pizza burn, children.

Overall question even if your young your odds are like 5 to 20% that this thing gives pneumonia and forced you to go into the hospital for like 2 weeks. Even if you have health insurance that will max out your deductible and leave you with like 12k in debt. How many people can not work for a month or two and pay 12 grand? After this whole thing is over like 15% of our country is going bankrupt and that’s assuming the insurance companies don’t weasel some more of the debt onto you.

Lol. It's crazy. Back in my day the only time we started panic buying was when the bartender yelled last call.

For those that can't find toilet paper, how many will resort to using leaves and pinecones?
