It went up to about 75 degrees here in NY today and here in Queens, there are TONS of people walking outside. I just looked outside my window today and lo and behold, everyone is outside. Most people are wearing masks, which is a good thing, but come on! STAY THE F*** HOME, PEOPLE!!!

That works if you live in Utopia. When people (30 million) lose their source of income how are they going to pay for basic necessities like rent, utility and food? Please don't say they will collect unemployment. That takes time - a loooong time.

Way too much of a cavalier attitude.

My uncle used to say the same thing. When he retired, he kept complaining how he had no money for food, electricity, and his medical bills. It was so bad to the point where my dad had to give him money to bail him out of his debt. We really felt sorry for the guy until one day, we went over to his house and lo and behold, he own tons of packs of cigarettes and tons of beer, a beautiful 60" 4K TV, Fois cable service with a bunch of premium channels and a nice powerful computer with a touch screen. Not to mention that he has a lot of nice kitchen gadgets.

I mean, you are broke and somehow, you were able to afford all that? How about quitting drinking and smoking for starters?

Now you see why I get annoyed when people complain about money?

Well yeah. I mean, why piss all your money away on each paycheck? Why not save some for a rainy day? I'm not saying just use your money on food and rent and then put the rest away and not have a little fun. But use SOME of it for fun, not all of it.

Agreed. It was bad here in Queens; I don't even want to imagine what Manhattan was like. It will probably be worse tomorrow since it's going to be near 80 degrees.
