Or what if it's like the flu vaccine fiasco - 'This years Covid vaccine is only 18% effective against this year's strain, but we still encourage everyone to stand in line with a bunch of other people, likely already infected to get it'.

"US reports more than 20,000 new cases"

So on track for 600,000 a month then?

My heart goes out to grocery store employees who have to deal with flak like this from people on a constant basis. Be kind to the grocery store workers, because they're dealing with extraordinary circumstances with the utmost grace and tolerance.
This has been an issue since the start, as some people just refuse to accept this whole thing is such a big deal, and see the whole measures as a big inconvenience, rather than a system put there to protect them.

I only tend to get groceries if they can be delivered or do a click and collect where I stay in my car, but there has been two occasions where I have visited our local smaller supermarket, and on both visits there are clear spacing indicators on the floor, but some just refuse to follow them as it might make them a couple of seconds late, from shopping in a pretty much empty store, pure stupidity at it's finest.

And as the world starts to ease it's lockdown I can only see thins getting worse, in England we have just had the most confusing press conference from our prime minister I have ever seen, and it goes to show they are not in touch with the reality of this in the slightest.

Over here restrictions have been eased too. And yesterday the infection rate went right to 1.1 again after it's been at 0.7 a few days prior. We've done OK in this pandemic so far. Not great but OK (7,500 deaths are still a lot of deaths) but I fear that things may take a turn for the worse and that restrictions may have been eased too soon and too much. Oh well, time will tell.

I understand that people have cabin fever and want to and NEED to work again. I'm just worried about the consequences. It's complicated and it's tough calls to make and I'm glad I don't have to make them.

I think it's a case of fingers crossed, let's just hope we have had the peak in cases, although I think it's way to soon.

My hands are as pale as a ghost from all the sanitizing, washing and glove-wearing - can anyone recommend a good hand lotion?

I already hear some of them saying the pandemic is a hoax by governments to force people to take another vaccine.

Well for this one I ain't going to lie, pumping something into me that will clearly not be thoroughly tested or proven is something I am going to be hesitant about.

For me not as big of a deal to those of you that will be forced to have your children do it. Especially with a Virus that literally doesn't even touch them except for some rare cases so far.

What a ridiculous thing to say. Of course it's going to be thoroughly tested for safety and efficacy. That's why the timetable for a vaccine is so far out. Part of the reason it takes 18-24 months is because most of that time is studying the effects on humans through various clinical trials...

My hands were very dry and itchy from excessive hand-watching, and I got an Eczema relief creme from Cortizone, and it helped my hands heal. It's not cheap (imo), but you don't need much of it.

As far as actual lotion goes, brands like Eucerin or CeraVe are usually recommended for dry skin, and other issues.

At my job, I literally always witness a few people that get very sick the day after they get the flu shot. I, personally, never had that experience so I always get vaccinated every year but I do believe that there are people that react badly to it. So, that's why some people may not be comfortable getting it.

Was there ever a medical explanation given?

Ridiculous is saying his comment is ridiculous...

They're already skipping animal testing in many cases.
