My sister has a friend whose side business is renting these inflatable movie screens. She said business has been insane.

This is pretty cool actually. Could this be the rebirth of the drive-in theatre?

I've actually wanted to go to a drive-in theater for years - never been. Unfortunately, there are none around here.

Looks like I might finally have a chance sometime soon.

I hope that cases and deaths go down everywhere, obvs. It's really hard to tell what's what when graphs from different sources can vary so differently, on top of it being within a two-week preliminary period. So here are two articles about how to read the data and what experts are thinking:

And like Indy, I've never been to a drive-in theater! I would love to go and I need to keep an eye out for any new / pop-up venues.

I was reading a BBC article where a WHO rep claimed its the equivalent of living with it now like HIV and getting on with it. I mean, what kind of idiot makes such a comparison.

Truth be told, personally i don't know where i stand on all this and potentially being forced to vaccinate before being allowed back to normality. I'm not one of those "Anti-vaxxer" types but i sure as hell don't feel like being a guinea pig for the hundreds of potential vaccines and umpteen unknown side effects and the data all shows majority of under 45s without underlying health issues have been fine with mild to no symptoms yet we're still not forming plans based around that data.

It's honestly really gonna come to a head if they don't do anything over the next few months.

That time I do not. The time that I went it was the new Jurassic Park movie.

The one that I pictured is closed because of the virus and was going to reopen. It actually should be opening soon though as some businesses are aloud to open. This one should be ok as long as people practice the proper social distancing.

Meaning...people living with being HIV positive? Or does it mean society, at large, living with the fact that COVID-19 (like HIV) is a threat and just "dealing with it?" I'd like to see the context.

Those drive-in screens look to small for me. I like being inside a theatre with no sunlight whatsoever and the giant screen being directly in front of me as I get the prime first row seats in front of the handicap section.

We have a drive-in here but I don't think they'll be open. I haven't been there since I was a kid though.

They funny thing is this.

"Businesses may refuse entry to anyone not wearing a face covering"

The business has the right to refuse service to anyone. If you don't want to wear a mask then go to a place that doesn't care. If you can't be bothered to follow the rules then don't get mad when you get asked to leave.

To what respect is New Mexico "re-opened" at the moment?
