A few days ago, my HR at work informed us an anonymous team member got tested positive and last worked June 27th.

Just a minute ago, I receive a text message from the store notifying the rest of the employees that a second case has now come to light at my workplace. Person last worked June 24th.

I’m not sure what to do. The job pays solid now due to the pandemic, but I have my parents and grandmother to worry about. As soon as I heard about the rising cases in Florida, I was worried that this might happen.

A major new study in one of Europe's worst affected countries for the coronavirus finds no evidence of widespread immunity to the virus developing.

Just 5% of Spaniards were detected to have antibodies to the virus.

Fourteen percent of people who previously tested positive for antibodies tested negative just weeks later.

The study suggests people who experience mild symptoms do not have long-lasting protection.

"Immunity can be incomplete, it can be transitory, it can last for just a short time and then disappear," Raquel Yotti, the director of Spain's Carlos III Health Institute, said.

Another scientist involved said: "In light of these findings, any proposed approach to achieve herd immunity through natural infection is not only highly unethical, but also unachievable."

With exception of "dear lord" in the first comment and that's no different than an eye roll....so if eye rolls were considered attacks, why would Blu Ray.com offer that emoticon?

All the comments were ppl disagreeing with you. I wouldn't consider disagreements attacks.

Now would my post be considered an attack? If so, we maybe at the heart of the problem. You are creating a cycle of calling attention to yourself by complaining that ppl are attacking you.

They were asking everyone to do it, from what I was told. It's entirely possible that people who had higher positions were having to monitor things under their pay grade when things were awful here. I don't know. I try not to pry when it comes to certain things and, truthfully, the less I know, the better.

If this is the case, why aren't we seeing more people who are becoming re-infected? If antibodies can wear off after as little as 3 weeks, people could turn right around and catch it again.

So if A is true, then B would be false: it's not as easily transmittable is they think it is.

Yes, exactly. I suggested to stay closed and people disagree. I now changed my stance and said we should do a phased re-opening because it's proven itself to work. But then people disagree and now say that businesses should shut down.

You guys always disagree no matter what I say. I want ZERO disagreements and am happy to change my stance accordingly to whatever is right. So you guys tells me what the right thing is...
