Stat - Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine study paused due to unexplained illness in participant

This is on top of the Oxford-Astra Zeneca vaccine trial that had to pause, on top of the Pfizer vaccine trial causing a severe medical event, and five people in the Moderna vaccine trial causing a stoppage. Seems like no matter what vaccine they're using, whether its mRNA or adenovirus, that there's going to be some severe medical events when they blow this out to the majority of the population.

You really believe they will release a faulty vaccine that makes people sick?

No, I think they're going to release a vaccine that makes a few people very sick once they blow this out to people who really need it (nursing homes). The trials are mostly healthy volunteers and the stoppages have been routine so far.

Look at the top candidates:

Pfizer is the leading candidate of adenovrius vaccines but a trial participant, a physician, had flu-like symptoms and shaking so hard that he cracked a tooth CNBC article.

Moderna is the leading candidate of mRNA vaccines. Johnson & Johnson is the leading adenovirus single-dose/single-shot vaccines.

Canada was in a race with the Netherlands, but I see they're 'beating' us this morning.

We're still in the top 10 though for cases.

A surprisingly large number of people whom I have asked have never gotten a COVID test, which, frankly, I'm shocked by. I myself have never been tested. I think if I haven't gotten sick 7 months into the pandemic, there's no reason to think I'm going to get infected now if I take all the precautions. I've actually been tightening precautions with increased vigilance and I rarely even go out except to work and to the neighborhood market.

On another note, I know that a cough is one of the symptoms of COVID - what about a sneeze? I tend to associate sneezing more with something that happens as a result of an environmental trigger like encountering dust or pollen. I've been sneezing a lot these past few days. AFAIK I'm not allergic to anything.

Okay, so except for a slight sore throat, all my symptoms have gone away. I'm pretty sure that I do not have corona

BTW, Acetaminophen (Tylenol) or Ibuprofen (Advil) - which of these was supposed to be avoided because it could potentially complicate symptoms?

Tylenol is nothing but placebo poison
Ibuprofen I believe was the one to stay away from if one had Corona

So what should one take if one has a fever?

Do you have Corona?

I use Coricidn when I get the regular flu. It's really good.

Not that I know of. I'm getting tested today for the first time. I've had this weird sensation of warmth from my torso up since yesterday like my insides are on fire but I don't have a fever (according to the infrared thermometer I'm using). Highest I've registered was a 97.6 but these things aren't really reliable.

Shortness of breath?
Lack of scents?
Loss of taste?

Those are three of the earliest signs.

Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for Covid-19. He is in isolation, has no symptoms & is feeling well.

Argh, this is why cases are rising! I went downstairs to my lobby last night to check the mail and my neighbor saw me and wanted to chat with me. And he has a bad cold and was not keeping his distance!

I'm not saying he has Coronavirus; he may not! But unless he's tested, you won't know for sure. And that's the problem... with the change in weather, many people are getting sick with the cold and flu. And some who actually have Coronavirus probably may just brush it off as a cold and not keep their distance and thus, infect others.

Woman Dies After Catching COVID-19 for a Second Time

Quote:
COVID-19 has a low reinfection rate, according to the Oxford researchers, who say just 23 cases of confirmed reinfection have been reported worldwide. In all previous reinfections, the patients all survived.
Quote:
In rare cases, including a 25-year-old reinfected man from Nevada with no underlying conditions, the new infection was far worse than the first round of the virus.
