For those newbies who haven’t been following this thread’s past technical discussions on ICtCp with pictorial illustrations and such since February 2016 (I quickly shortened ICtCp to ICC without subscripts in response to Richard - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...c#post11886102

about 1¾ years later in 2017, Jaclyn gave a nice summary of it to the interviewer at a past SMPTE conference which I think even if one is not that adept in color science is pretty easy to understand - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwJD5gc4NCA#t=17m41s

No, I wasn’t referring to Chuck Norris.
In real life, the other Producer I was referring to has used the call sign ‘Mustang Five One Echo Whiskey’ while piloting his own plane.

I know of a couple of cinematographers who’ve been so involved in bringing attention to this topic in the past…..https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...d#post11691918

One being quite busy with the motion picture at the top of the list - https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0592073/

I tip my hat and raise my glass to Mr. Cruise. I have my UHD copy of Fallout just waiting to be watched. Unfortunately I have to wait until Christmas break.

Can’t wait to read Penton’s reaction to all the new circles.
What a whopper of dizzying colors.

Lots of work went into that simplification! Like it.

Much simpler to see the individual categories and makes more sense.

Wonder why there's no dotted yellow empty SL-HDR1 circle on some of them. Mistake?

Overwhelmed from work, bilateral cataract surgery , or holding it to watch later with the kids?
