My TV is an LG C6 OLED TV. My receiver is a Yamaha RX-V679. My UHD player is a Philips BDP7501. They're connected by HDMI 2.0b cables. It'll play in 60 fps but not with HDR, which works during the previews and menu but not the actual movie.
Could it be the receiver? I have the same player and it played 60fps with HDR without issue, and I know it isn't your OLED.

Yeah, if it's going thru the amp then try piping the video to the TV directly.

BUT also check the 4K60 options in the player settings, make sure it's set to 4:4:4 and not 4:2:0. Switching to 4:2:0 will automatically convert 4K60 HDR to 4K60 SDR.

It's 4:4:4 but thanks for the tip anyways. I'll try to hook the player directly to the TV, it may just be the receiver after all.

Your amp is a 2015 vintage I believe, and at that time manufacturers were still having to face a choice of full fat 18Gb/s HDMI 2.0 without HDCP 2.2, or 10.2Gb/s with HDCP 2.2, thus allowing for UHD HDR passthru but only at <30fps frame rates. I know what the bumpf says, that the amp should be fine with 60p passthru, but unless there's some sort of standard/enhanced setting you can choose to enable the higher HDMI bandwidth on the Yammy then that's what I'd be pointing the finger at. Plumb the player directly into the TV and it should work fine at 60p HDR.

The HDR disc looks like it was shot in the studio, like shoot on home video, yes details are beautiful but when the rest looks like a live stage that is just trash.

A movie should look like a movie, on news or sports-documentary there the HFR comes in to play.

Way anybody like this cheap home video, live stage look is beyond me.It becomes to much of the good.

With 120FPS you will notice that some things will look fake or staged and that is not cinema,

But I guess some people like it when a movie looks staged or some CGI looks so fake with 120FPS

The Cinema World is going under with cheap ass SOE 120FPS.

You have been brain-washed my friend...If we all thought that way we would never have artists and innovators in movie-making.
The moment you try to apply strict rules to cinema you are immediately killing any breath of creativity
