This disc has viewers split in two camps and discussion seems to be pointless. As Rocky said: you're not going to convince him, and he's not going to convince you, so what's the point?

All the pros and cons have already been brought up in this very same topic.
Yea I know that. No, I'm not going to convince him, I'm just sharing what I saw in the movie. He was the one that started to discuss with me on the matter and I told him what I saw and experienced in that movie that's all.

You are just sharing your personal opinion trying to make it pass as a fact, big difference

Well like I said when the extras look so fake in their conversation and look like a shot in the studio then they need to go back and go about in another approach.

but yes it is how he wanted it, but come an, is this what cinema has become, and people accepting that 120fps should be standard and have it look so real like that you see when people are acting or like it watching a live show really!!

Well, then movie business is taking even a deeper fall.

Being that this is the only release in this format ever, I think we can agree that the answer is 'no'.

Yea like with 4K, we didn't need it, not the resolution anyway, and therefore they came out with HDR because most people don't sit 80cm from a 55 inch 4K

The point is that they force you to buy it and I guess they will with 120FPS to like with 4K

To enjoy all that detail in 4K from saying 3-4M you need what 80-inch tv, not everybody has that in there living room.sop my guess is they gonna force it down our throats either we wanted or not.

Well, maybe YOU don't need the resolution. I'll happily take it.

Well I don't use my 55 inches as a monitor and from 2m you don't see the difference between 1080p-4K

Doesn't mean you have to buy 4K BDs. Not to mention there are still plenty of 1080p TVs available on the market. Why are you posting in a 4K forum, exactly?

That's what people say, well if you see more details on 4K from 2m on a 55 inch you must be special.

Uh... I guess I'm special because I do every day.

To paraphrase Rocket Surgeon, Mr. David Lee Roth, "I don't feel special."

The detail increase from 1080p to 4K isn't nearly as subtle as many would lead one to believe, IMO. I sit about 5-6 feet away from a 65" display and I think the improvement can be quite massive. If anything, HDR is the subtler upgrade of the two.
