CNN had the whole interview posted on youtube recently.

I especially love the part where Mayor Goodman said 'you're talking disease. I'm talking life and living' and the fun retort by Anderson Cooper 'ok that makes no sense' at 18:46
This interview is something else.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. ...And all those "essential" jobs @ the casinos.

I'm sure there are a lot of people here (myself included) who think they've had it. However, I know several people who were sure they have/had it, were tested and it came back negative. So people are still getting flus or, for whatever reason, there's still false-positives.

One of my friends (who officially tested positive) is going back for his antibody test next week and another friend is seeing if our insurance covers the anti-body test. There are a lot of places in Manhattan with appointments to get it done but, if your insurance doesn't take it, it's about $300-400.

On another front, a friend called me today to tell me his neighbor just died from it...and two of his friends died from it as well - one was in his 30's and the other in her 40's.

I think studies are showing that the antibodies for Coronavirus don't last very long. So, you can get the virus again in a couple of months. So don't hold your breath...

It's far more than that. The true number of people who actually had is for more than what the number of positive cases show, according to antibody tests in New York, Los Angeles and other places.

I was sick about 6 weeks ago. I had the flu shot this year but I know that's not a guarantee I won't get the flu anyways. It started with lots of sneezing, a persistent cough and sore throat, and I figured it was just a cold, since it was just before things started getting bad in the US. But suddenly after a few days of the coughing, I was hit with the chills for 2 nights straight, and I never get the chills. The heat was set to 72 and I was shivering under the covers. I ended up putting on a second top and an extra blanket to stop the chills. I was also sweating a ton but cold at the same time. When I got up a couple times I was shivering uncontrollably just getting out of bed, and I was soaked from sweating. That never happens to me ever. Then, after the 2nd night, I had a headache the next morning. I went to sleep for about 3 hours that afternoon, and when I woke up, it was like a switch was flicked off. The headache was gone, no more chills or sweating, my throat felt better, and the cough decreased over the following few days.

I didn't think to check my temperature though through all that as it was just before I started realizing how serious the virus was getting. So I have no idea if I had a fever. No aches though.

So it was pretty unusual how it came and went so suddenly, and how sick I felt for about a week total. But I can't be sure it was the virus of course.

I don't think anybody has enough information yet to say things like this. We just don't know enough about it yet.

Yes let's totally compare a 15 year old girl hiding from the Gestapo to people trying to survive a pandemic that's affecting millions of lives. That's not inappropriate at all.

But it's the fear of losing jobs, the endless articles about death, concern over infecting loved ones, shortages of supplies - it all takes a toll.

I get the losing of the jobs and all, but there's tons of people complaining about their social life as well.

You can't make this stuff up. Another brilliant suggestion to fight the virus:

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/...235959637.html

"“Supposing we hit the body with a tremendous ultra violet or just very powerful light,” he said, looking toward Bryan and Dr. Deborah Birx, a member of the White House coronavirus task force. “And I think you said that hasn’t been checked but you are going to test it.”

He added, “And then I said supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you could do either through the skin or in some other way. I think you said that you are going to test that, too. And then I saw the disinfectant, where knocks it out in one minute, and is there a way we could do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning. As you see it gets in the lungs, it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.”

Bryan later said that using disinfectant to clean the lungs is not possible. “Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t work,” Trump then said."

"Later, on MSNBC, Dr. Irwin Redlener said that Bryan “clearly had no idea what he was talking about and the president just sort of amplified these statements of data without evidence. And again, I’m sure people are going to go out now and try to figure out how they can buy UV lights or how they can insert light and disinfectant into a human body. I really hope people just don’t take this seriously. It was just a pack of nonsense if I can be so blunt.”"

Dr. Fauci is also pretty positive that we’ll have another outbreak by Fall. So either way, we’re still screwed for a while.
