dont set yourself up for disappointment. youre dreaming if you think this will all be over come April 1st.

i think another month of this, at least, personally with the new lifestyle of living. buckle up and think May, not April

Don't know why Trumps getting criticised for telling that reporter off for sensationalism. He was right.

I know this isn't political but please be careful with comments like this as they tend to go down hill fast.

hydroxychloroquine- a Canadian manufactured drug. Already on back order from 2 American warehousing companies. Currently there are 7 medical warehousing companies, 4 are regional with inability to distribute to corporate pharmacies, 3 are nationwide. With Canada closing borders, it will take special care to deal with this situation. There are some auto immune diseases where people take it regularly and they have been prioritized to get it if orders come in.
Tylenol- German manufactured drug. Also having German borders closed, this is going to be a slow trickle to get back in stock. For many ibuprofen could substitute however many can not take that as it could up platelets among other things. Some studies on covid19 are saying to stay away from naproxen and ibuprofen so that’s not good.
One of the inhalers combivent I think, seems to be on back order. So if needed, call ahead and don’t wait til it’s out. Majority is made in Turkey.
Good luck and this info is from people I know in the distribution channels. No scare tactics here, no fear mongering, just hoping to help people not wait in line or run out of meds if needed.
Anyway, local ihop and hooters are in full swing. Packed parking lots. Never see that aside from Sundays. Most everywhere else was doing the drive thru thing. Had to go out and get some out of stock medical supplies and took notice.

People aren't inside correct? They are getting their food to go I would hope. If not then that is pretty bad.

Any generic acetaminophen is the same thing. Like ibuprofen, it don't have to be a certain brand.

Unfortunately, my liver and acetaminophen don't get along too well (at least, more than a few days worth), so I'll take my chances with ibuprofen.

Do you mean the reporter who asked if he had an encouraging message for the American people?

My complex just announced they will no longer accept packages at the main office. Pretty much all USPS deliveries were made to the main office.

Wow that is stupid. I can understand pick up but dine in? They shouldn't be allowing that. I know some states said they can get in trouble if they have a lock down going on.

Decided to take a short trip to get out of the house - headed for the highway to just cruise. On the way back I suggested to my son we make a stop at Walmart - head over to the meat area - if it's empty - just leave.

So off we went. Got to the meat aisle and again almost everything was sold out. Going to try to make meatloaf using turkey sausage instead of beef. When we were there my son lost it! Some big fat guy was just grabbing everything in site and my son grabbed the sign that said be thoughtful of others - only 2 per item are allowed. And he said in a loud voice; "hey a$$hole . . . can't you read?" Well the guy got all flustered, apologized and put back about 90% of the stuff he took. My son is almost 6' 2' And has this menacing look that he can put on. That's my boy! proud of him!

Unfortunately the sensationalist media are using them both interchangeably. I'm sure they prefer to use the term lockdown in the titles to get more clicks.

Question: What do you say to Americans who are scared?
