I think the fact they announced it was fine but i think there's been a clear indication of the "Have's and Have Not" in terms of testing for Coronavirus. Prince Charles, Boris Johnson etc. all will get preferentially treated based on their status imo. Maureen and Jack being in a similar position wouldn't.

I think if anything, once this whole thing blows over, just like in 2008, we'll see the wealth of the rich rocket off as they managed to take advantage of the crisis to profit all over the place.

I've come up with an idea that is ridiculous, but would actually work in helping our economy, and this epidemic. I think if NYC for instance created a huge living space (or multiple) where healthy 18-30 year olds can live, and intentionally contract the virus, and then quarantine them for 3 weeks or so, and if they test negative, they can go back to work, or help out in some way in the city. Of these, only a small portion of them will probably need hospitalization, and very few if any will actually die. This would have to be a voluntary thing of course. If we did this with several thousand people across multiple living spaces, it would shrink transmissions, and boost the work force much quicker than just a shelter in place strategy would. It would also have the extra benefit of creating a large pool of blood plasma that can be used towards making antibody serums that will save other lives (especially the high risk population). That plasma is something many hospitals are after right now.

Again totally ridiculous, but would work. It's basically herd immunity, but in a strategic, staggered, and organized way.

The rich get richer regardless mate. There are people out there who've made a killing out of this now, never mind when the rebuilding begins. As for the testing, why wouldn't the person who runs the country not be more eligible for a test than the average schmoe? But for NHS workers, shop staff etc it's a different story, yes.

NM took some more stricter measures to contain the virus: All schools now closed for the rest of the school year and because people refused to practice social distancing, all parks and trails are now closed.

Went to Dollar Tree yesterday. Signs all over the windows - no more than 5 people allowed in the store at one time.

One person who works in Amazon’s Staten Island, New York, fulfillment center tested positive for the novel coronavirus, the online retail giant told CNN Business late Tuesday. The person, who was last at work physically on March 11, is in quarantine and recovering, Amazon said.
