I'd say that "reactive" is a very polite term for what the federal response has been so far.

Even more demoralizing, this is the first time in my life that there has been a global crisis and the US has not been there to coordinate an international response. All semblance of international leadership led by America has vanished into thin air.

On a more personal note, this is the first time since I can remember that I've gone for 2 whole weeks wtithout going to the movies.

I've never been to Paris. Just passing on a story my uncle told us when we were kids. He boarded a train and said he had to get off at the 1st stop, as the body odor was overpowering.

I have been to NYC, and some parts do smell like a sewer. Beautiful city though.

A few months ago I was in line to pay for groceries, when the two women in front of me obviously must have been allergic to water. The guy behind me looked at me as though I was the culprit. LOL

I have not taken the underground in London, but I did take the subway in New York and the Metro in Paris and the one in NYC is worst. And honestly of all the places I have been nothing compares to the time I was on Bourbon street in New Orleans (fun party place, but that stink is just out of this world)

It's not that they don't shower but a lot of Europeans (French, Italians, Greeks, Spaniards) don't wear deodorant because of the chemicals in it and they think natural body smells are sexy...

Paris used to be very well known for smelling badly of dog shit as they wouldn't pick up after their dogs, but I'm sure that has changed now along with the rest of the world.

New York has some very funky smells, especially around the steamy sewers.

I agree with some of their complaints. I don't think Instacart can help with protective gear, but the shoppers should be paid more.

Anyone see what's wrong with that picture?

Yeah, some people simply do not cover their nose with the mask. It's not the first time I've seen that. Human stupidity knows no bounds.

It seems like it would be good to clean surfaces but there is no way I would use it on my hands, you would be better off just giving them a good wash with soap and water and dry them with paper towel
