Paris used to be very well known for smelling badly of dog shit as they wouldn't pick up after their dogs, but I'm sure that has changed now along with the rest of the world.

New York has some very funky smells, especially around the steamy sewers.

So perfume, so big in France, does not have any chemicals... I did not know that.

I have a feeling that a lot of the panic shoppers that bought up all the masks to wear, specifically the N95 hoarders, don’t even know how to properly wear them or take them off. There’s a reason we have to get fit tested, clean shaven, and given the Saccharin taste test yearly.

Are you implying that we've only been going through this pandemic for just a week?? Where have you been???

This is exactly why cases are skyrocketing with no end in sight. U.S. citizens, in general, still refuse to believe how serious this is. People are still like, "138K cases, no big deal! We're just doing more tests, so we're doing a good job keeping this under control." Whereas China took this seriously from Day 1 and that's why they have the 80K cases under control and are slowly getting their lives back to normal.

Seriously, we have to take our heads out of our butts are start taking this seriously. Stop take our number of cases for granted! This is serious and we have to take it seriously! Stay at home, stop traveling, and if you have any cough or sniffles, quarantine yourself!!

Not sure where you got that from but it’s just not true. Deodorant is widely used in those countries. Any people that don’t are a minority.

Many don't show symptoms for a couple of weeks. Also the number of tests being done is growing. Basically even if by some miracle, not a single person got infected in the last week, those numbers would still be going up by a lot right now.

So the 2 weeks is almost up that retail stores said they'd be closed. When are they going to announce further closure and how much longer this time?

Ok guys, I'm selling toilet paper. $5 per roll. Or $30 for 5 rolls.

Seriously, I feel that people are hoarding the toilet paper to sell for a profit. How in hell could demand for toilet paper be this high?? Hand sanitizer, ok I understand. But why toilet paper?? What the hell is wrong with people? I'm starting to run low (I have about 5 rolls left) and will need to buy more soon and no stores have them yet!!

UK is aparently not reopening (announced this morning) until the last week of May or first week of June and we are both at about the same point in the cycle.

It'll be interesting to see what happens over there...

Have you checked dollar stores, grocery stores, and hardware stores?

Seems like most people are just flocking to Walmart/Target.

I've said it before, but if Kmart and Shopko held on for another year, they'd have tons of business.

This is just ridiculous. From what I hear, people are still flocking to the remaining open stores. Closing stores at 8pm isn't going to stop coronavirus.

Let's just go back to normal and whoever gets the virus gets it, whoever dies, dies.

I've been home for 3 weeks now and haaaaate it. I don't want the virus, but I know there's a 50/50 chance I'll get it. All it takes is me going to the store to get a few necessities.

I don’t know how that would go over here in the U.S. I’ve heard people while at the market say they want to go shopping at certain stores again. People are are going to tolerate these lockdowns for only so much longer I think.

Sorry, I’m not picking on you, honest , but I do think it’s important to be accurate. There has been no new official announcement, current measures are in place for a three week period and will be reviewed at the end of that period. That’s still the official position. However, Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove told the BBC this morning “I can’t make an accurate prediction, but everyone does have to prepare for a significant period when these measures are still in place.” And later during the Government’s daily update Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Harries said it could be six months or longer before the country gets back to normal, with reviews of lockdown measures every three weeks. So whilst no announcement has yet been made, it’s very likely we will still be on lockdown in May. The PM has also confirmed tougher lockdown measures may be necessary.

oh boo hoo. Our ancestors would've loved to stay at home instead of going to war.
