I've been having massive anxiety over this (as many are, of course), but I hope there's some truth in your optimism. I'm trying to find any positivity in this. I'm not as worried about the virus as I am about getting the meds I need to survive, so that I can protect/support my family. But I'm not sleeping and my health is deteriorating already, so who needs a virus?!

No it hasn't. There hasn't been enough large studies yet to show either way whether it will work, but there is enough evidence to try using it.

Are you hard of reading? Point to where a large scale study has been done. 30 people is not large enough a sample to make any sort of conclusions. The researchers from that same study even said a larger study needs to be done. As I pointed out before as well, that study did not combine it with Zithromax, which may also enhance the effectiveness of the treatment.

I edited to add the link. My point about larger studies being needed was there from the start. I'm sorry you somehow didn't realize that a study with 30 participants, and limited scope wasn't enough to say whether a drug regimen is effective or not.

Here is the conclusion from the study you're linking too:

The researchers concluded that additional studies using larger numbers of patients are needed to fully investigate the drug’s risks and benefits.

They're going to try enforce social distancing on the train, but there's really not a lot that can be done. Lots of people still need it to go to work. The city is actually making the problem worse by reducing service making more people crowd into one train. If anything services should be increased to allow people to bypass a train and wait for another if there's too big of a crowd.
