first, sorry for your loss.

once you approach the 50 age bracket, the numbers start increasing tremendously unfortunately.

48 is right in the bracket for middle age so yeah, my condolences on your loss.

Personally I'm 40 and healthy so I'm not super worried about it but I'm also trying to be cautious. Trying to be nonchalant about it though so I don't freak out the children and the old people I live with.

That chart is for NYC only. You're talking about the entire state.

Probably because none of the numbers being reported are 100% correct. Some states and countries record actual corona deaths where some state the death was corona related. As in patient had corona like symptoms but died from cancer complications but they still mark is as a corona death.

Thousands in Michigan protested stay-at-home orders, many waving pro-Trump slogans or carrying assault rifles. Michigan has one of fastest-growing U.S. #COVID19 rates and at least 1,900 deaths.

The gridlock of cars blocked off hospitals and trapped at least one ambulance.

Time for Michigan to call in the National Guard to force idiots to comply since they won't listen to reason.

Come on! China is already slowly going back to normal. Why can't the USA do so? I'm losing faith in our country...

you really need to stop comparing USA to China. would you like to be locked into your home for 2 months? literally locked into you house? those people were not allowed to leave for ANY reason. plus, they started lockdown a month or more before everyone else.

How did they get food?

And why not compare to China? China was the source of the pandemic and where it was originally severe.
