One can watch this marathon in HDR10 if not an owner of a Dolby Vision HDR TV. (You must have one of Comcast's 4k set tops and I think the Xi6 is the only one that supports Dolby Vision...XG1v4 DVR supports 4k/HDR10.)

-Seniors have a time slot from 7-8 AM just for themselves.
-You can't get in line at a cash register, you get in line with distancing between people and they let you know what cash register to go to.
-A lot of items are limited to 2 per people.

People in the US have such measures or is it a free-for-all?
I'm in the US and my local grocery store today had arrows all over the floor directing people one-way, and the intercom was telling people to follow the arrows. Of course people were just going whichever way they wanted to anyways. I'm not sure what the point of the arrows is anyhow. The virus doesn't pay any attention to the arrows, and it was pretty calm in there today. Unlike Wal-Mart last week which was chaotic.

They also have limits to how many can enter a store at once, have plastic dividers at the registers to protect the cashiers, and some items are definitely 1 or 2 per family. There were wet wipes at the front for the carts but I have no idea if it's actually able to kill viruses or if it's just a basic wet wipe.

Gutted.

Supposed to be flattening the curve....Alberta's been averaging 100 confirmed infections per day. Today we were over 300.

I know we don't compare in terms of numbers to some other places...but this shit is really wearing me down.

I can't figure this one out. It just adds another area of fiddliness. The less fiddling you're doing the better.

What I'm interested in, regarding "phase two", is what amount of people will constitute a large gathering? I assume that amount is gradually going to increase (unless it causes a spike, then it can go back down). The event limit size will be critical to determine what events can take place and what can't.

As far as running races go, I can imagine there would be a run on the smaller races and trail races, as people from cancelled larger events just want to race in anything. Maybe every permitted race will be a lottery race until the big ones open back up?

I still think due to difficulty level (I've attempted 10 marathons, finished 9 due to mistakes in the 10th) most people will not want to run Ruidoso. I mean I'm going to do it because it's reasonably close and reasonably cheap but I doubt most people can handle a mountain marathon. Only Big Basin was harder and that was because it was a mountain trail marathon with creeks, trees, boulders, etc.

Also, I bet most states will be different but New Mexico's plan looks solid, especially once they hammer out the finer details.

Sounds more in difficulty like a trail marathon at altitude. If it happens, it's gonna be full.

I don't think there's a capacity limit because usually it's about 30 people, will be interesting to see what happens with so many races getting moved to virtual.

I did a virtual 10K this morning and it sucked. Don't want to do anymore "pretend" races.

Yeah virtual races are stupid, I'm still going to "run" Grandma's by doing Ruidoso.
