I think you should read this article guys. It will give an insight into what this virus is like for those who have it.

Los Angeles appears to be breaking down on tv. Most channels have two helicopters broadcasting in split screen; twice the coverage, twice the destruction.

Big difference on wearing a mask and gloves while performing surgery than wearing them in public.

Nope, it's for the same reason. To protect both yourself and others you come into contact with.

Why do I feel like I'm getting different kinds of feedback from people here? One minute, we're all in agreement about wearing masks and now suddenly, it seems like you guys are against it. I thought we were all on the same page on this one.

Contemplating going out for dinner for the first time tomorrow. Hopefully we can get a table on the patio, so we're still outside.

Read online all the precautions the place is taking and while there's always some risk, seems like the best that can be done.

Numbers in Calgary have been dropping steadily. Yesterday we had the first day since this all started in March with no deaths.

Cautiously optimistic.

And no one said you have to constantly wear them in public. Only when you can't socially distance and when you're in shops, etc. where there is usually air conditioning, meaning heat is no issue. If that's already a problem what's it like when you have an actual, real problem?

I wholeheartedly disagree. I think a mask should be worn 100% of the time once your step outside your front door.

And I'm not saying you can't. I'm just saying you don't have to.

I sometimes wear it outsite while I'm out. But in my case it's more a matter of me liking the fact that people don't recognize you and you don't get caught up in conversations when you really just want to get the shit you just bought home.

If I were walking down the street, with zero people around me, tell me why I should be wearing a mask again...?

Put me in the camp that refuses to wear a mask while I am driving. Got my windows closed and the A/C on with no outside air recirculation. Once I leave the car, my mask goes on and stays on until I am back in the car.

Is COVID-19 even a thing anymore because you sure wouldn't know it by the way people are acting. Might as well open the whole country up now.

If im driving in my SUV I don't need a mask. If im at a big park where its more then possible to stay 6 feet apart or more (like Central Park) I don't think you need to wear a mask either. Also wait until its 90-100 degrees out, see how much you like wearing a mask. Me & my wife already stopped wearing gloves because its too hot for them, I carry around hand sanitizer though.

I, personally, don’t drive but I see LOTS of people driving with masks on. Ironically, I see more people driving with masks on than I do see people walking with one on. I guess Coronavirus can ventilate into your car and circulate.

I'm not sure where you live where zero people can be around you. Nobody pops in from time to time? You are the ONLY person in that area 100% of the time??
