Bruce, you mentioned 800 (2nd time) for the USA, and from the exact same source their numbers are:

- Yesterday, June 11 -> 904
- Before yesterday, June 10 -> 982

I know that those numbers are not accurate, but that's the numbers they published. If going strictly by the numbers provided by that specific source.
...Only a simple observation. You meant the average for this week, as compared to last week ... 800 versus 1,000 ... the graph shows definitely a decline, good.

You good on going back to specific time and place.

Yes, I meant seven day moving average (solid line). It was 803 this morning.

You mentioned "yelling". Not the best practice in these times of COVID-19 pandemic. The less talk the better, and yelling definitely not.

It's very tough to all adjust to our new lifestyle.
For the best eye opening (understanding and advanced knowledge), we have to look @ the nurses and doctors working in the front lines. They know first hand what's happening, they live it every day, except for over 6,000 of them gone forever worldwide.

The police, to serve and protect our communities. We need more of them, we need to hire more of them during pandemics.

It's very tough everything that's happening everywhere in the world since the start of this new decade. It seems to be escalating every single day from one spot to the next and back again to the same spot for some.

It will take time to adapt to this new lifestyle, it will take time for roughly 8 billion people on our planet to be on the same page. In some countries it's almost impossible because of logistics etc.

The economy ... I'm @ lost trying to evaluate and predict.
Stimulus packages sure help, food workers (groceries) are essential, masks are always the talk of the town, finding a vaccine is like our next best hope, how do you pay people who are @ greater risk? And where do you invest the money for best results?

What are billionaires doing in these times? Saving world economies, saving humanity, saving their own skins, saving their money? What money is good for if it's rotting in bank accounts, where do the banks are investing now that is helping?

It's not easy to predict where the global economies are going, which directions for the next month, months, year, years, decade, decades ...

Yelling certainly won't help.

Bus drivers don't turn their heads around when they shout at someone - they're looking at the rearview mirror and shouting in the forward direction. Any "germs" will go to the windshield Plus, they've cordoned off the front of the bus so there's no real danger of contamination from a bus driver if they do turn around and shout.

Indeed. And that's roughly three times less than when it was @ its peak in April (2,500+/-). We hope the declining trend continues till it hits zero death.
...Here and everywhere else.

We have the highest number of positive cases, by far, over any other country. In fact, we have more than Brazil, Russia, India & UK COMBINED!!!

The higher number (which they used exclusively), would result in 1045 deaths a day.

Big difference, since we're at 803 now and dropping.

well, to be fair to the media, listening to the video, I think the reporter said “as many as”
and when it comes to morbidity and mortality in medicine, it’s best practice to prepare for the worst and hope for the best
